Hello all,

I've just found about this forum from a post on the 'My Big TOE' board where I've participated quite a bit.Thought I'd drop in and join.It seems like the atmosphere here is quite accepting of the broader reality.IMO,it's easier to discuss things and share data when an expanded context of reality is assumed with others who have also had 'self validating experiences'.It's helpful to share information and learn about the bigger picture when we don't try to deny our experiences or explain them away.(If it happened,it's 'real'.The question is how to avoid 'category errors'.)Skepticism is good too,but material reductionist type views are also assumptions, and IMO,'ontological materialism' is on the ropes right now.

Anyway,I've also been active at Michael Raduga's obe4u ,dreamviews and some others under a different name.Going to snoop around now.....

Hallo Jeffd
Both OBE4U and Dreamviews are quite interesting. I am not a member at either site but do lurk at both a lot.
If you are a practitioner of the Phase then you will feel at home here. Although more traditional OBE methods are used here as well.

Thanks all.

Lionheart,
I am already finding some useful information and interesting posts. There's a hell of alot to look through..LOL.I'm not sure that I want to start a topic until I read more here.  :-D

Greytraveller,
I have Lucid Dreams and OBEs about 3-4 times/week or more sometimes, and then the occasional dreaded dry spell. Yeah, they call it the phase at obe4u,and I agree with everyone there that dreams,LDs,AP,and OBE are all variations of something. But I don't agree that this something is 'all in the head' meaning that these experiences are only internal representations or illusions produced soley by neurons and electrochemicals. Everyone is cool there though, there's no real dogma and people respect each other's opinions,so I like it.Besides,Michael Raduga has put together the best method I've ever come across. It took me years on my own to findout some of the stuff in his book.Other things like 'listening in' and such were new to me.It's all good stuff IMO,very practical and effective.I'm feeling at home here too,I can relate to alot of things I've been reading....
