I did it. Now why can't I do it again?

Hi guys. I'm Bekka, and a bit new around here. I think that maybe ya'll can help me.

So a week and a half or so ago, I KNOW I astral projected, right. Well, it's strange, because no matter how many different ideas I try out, how I lay, how empty I can get my head, I can't seem to do it again. ((My friend, whom I can't get ahold of right now, believes that since I had success on my first attempt, I am prob a very strong astral. What do ya'll think?))

My big old question?: How do I do it again? Thanks.

I do not know what are the reason why you do not ap.  There are a few things you need to do to ap.  Meditation can help a lot to ap.  It is a good idea to practice meditating.  You need to be relaxed both your mind and body.  You can relax yourself or you can listen to a CD that will help you to relax. 

You need to concentrate.  This morning I did not concentrate and I fell asleep.  When I concentrate I usually succeed.

If you are starting to feel uncomfortable after lying down for a while, you need to have a break or change positions and get comfortable again.  I realise after a while I start to feel uncomfortable after lying down for a while.  Then I turn over and go to sleep.

When you feel you are very relaxed do an ap technique.

Just a tip, do not try too hard.  If you try too hard it can put pressure on you making ap harder.  I have the attitude now, if If I ap I ap and if I do not then I do not ap.  I do not worry about it.  It is not worth getting stressed about it.  Keep saying to yourself I can ap.  If you believe you can ap, ap will be a lot easier.  If you loose confidence ap gets harder.  That is from my experiences.
The author of Buhlman of ap books recommends not to ap in bed as we are conditioned to go to sleep in bed.  If you can ap in bed then that is not a problem.  I find if I am not in bed I am more alert in another room so I ap more often than in bed.

Since you AP on your FIRST try (from my understanding), then you haven't had much practice at all.
Due to this, you can't expect to AP every night after. I had my first OBE a week after I started.

It's been about a month, and I still haven't had an OBE since.
Just keep practicing. It will happen again.

The absolute basics are go to sleep as normal but keep your mind occupied just enough to stay concious. Don't think of your sleeping body in any way. Humming a tune us.good to do but trying to work out the inflation rate for next year isn't good. Relax taking things ad.they come and don't react to anything. Once successful you'll remember the feeling you had. A thought of being somewhere lical to you that you know.well is very good to keep in your mind.
It's really simple to do but so many distractions exist and these usually lead you to sleep.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.
