Just introducing myself

I am new to AP for oh about a week now.  I am still iffy on the subject and dont know if I believe in it or not.  I have read alot around this website (so much info) and would like to get a book to help me.

I have tried to projection once if not twice a day for about a week now and I have yet to feel vibrations.  However, last night I suddenly felt like my breathing was coming from deep within and I felt light as a feather everywhere but my legs.  I tried letting the feeling grow and it did.  I felt like I could be floating, but when I opened my eyes I was still on the bed.

I have seen a really bright light suddenly grow before me but before I could focuse on it, it went away.  If you have any off the wall tips that helped you I will try any method.

I will keep you posted on my adventures

Why thank you Stookie.  Any advice to help me along?

What method do you use?

Hi there and welcome to astral pulse.

I  think that you should continue with what you are doing.  You are already having some results and I have known people try for years before getting results like you, although I know how frustrating it can be when you are first trying it.

I'm no expert on AP, only had a couple myself.  But it took me months of trying for one before I actually got one (if you are interested you could read more about my first AP on my site, link in siggy).

But I think it sounds like you are doing well.  I really enjoyed the William Buhlman books, have you read those?

Best of luck to you.

Thank you more than you know Petal

I have felt lately that this is just not for me.  I have been stuck.  I fall asleep very fast (I can fall asleep anywhere, at anytime if I wanted to).  So its been very discouraging.  But to know that my few tiny experiences are what to look for and to know that its faster than some will help me stick with it.

I have had one vibration experience.  My whole body seemed to shake wildly.  Then I felt like I was going faster than you could imagine.  I was going to fast that I felt like my body was naturally starting to float.  The happened when I realized in a dream that I was dreaming, then BAM! Vibrations.  Before I could realize what was happening, my two year old starting crying and distracting everything.  I suddenly shot out of bed.  But this was about a week ago and I have had nothing since.  So thank you for the words of encouragement.
