Title: Introduction and Meditation Story to share
Post by: Pi-Rate on September 23, 2011, 15:14:44
Hey guys my name is Ryan. Pi-rate is my "graffiti name". I have always been very into lucid dreaming, as a kid I had lucid dreams every night. When I got older I lost it but still have them multiple times a week. I have a lot of experience in the realm of lucid dreaming but it is all from waking up in the dream. My goal now is to be able to induce that state of consciousness from the waking physical state. I've successfully done it twice, but both were almost 2 years ago.

Today I had a great meditation. I developed a new tool for myself to achieve a "one-pointed consciousness." It was useful and I will definitely be using it every time a meditate. I also "dissolved" my desire to astral project. It's hard to explain, but it was like I just didn't care if I projected anymore because  the meditation was so awesome I knew my consciousness was benefiting regardless. I think this is an important paradigm shift for my personal development. After I didn't care about projecting I was able to have a fantastic meditation experience where I was totally at peace and listening to the inner working of my psyche.

I feel great and can't wait to do it again. I just wanted to share this with the community. I have lurked here for a while now, btw.

Hallo Pi-rate.
Yes lucid dreams are special experiences. As you must be well aware there are many ways to become lucid in a dream. Inducing a LD from the waking state is probably the Hardest to do. I have never managed to do that though I Have become lucid in several dreams after recognizing something that was incongruous and Way out of place which quickly triggered awareness that "This is a Dream !".

Cheers  :-)
