I wonder if one of you can help me with the following question concerning subliminal messages.
Would it be possible for the subconscious mind to understand a massage in a foreign language i.e.  not the homelanguage of the listener. However the conscious mind does understand the foreign language.

I read about binaural beat frequencies. What I don't understand is that if you listen to an 8Hz frequency you will not be able to hear this low sound. How is it than possible to make use off this frequency if there are no headsets on the market which receive a frequency at least below 10Hz.
Or will the brain pick it up anyway.

Ive done light research on that as well and have asked the same question. How I look at it in theory is if you relate the same effect as the 8Hz sound to a dog whistle or a frequency to break glass, though we are not able to hear them the sounds they are around us.  Though we cannot hear it, it may be altering parts of the brain that may be tuned to that specific frequency.

Not an expert, however just finished reading a great book Eyes of an Angel. In one chapter, where the author (Paul Elder) described when he was at the Monroe Institute, he related  how he was able to communicate with another in the nonphysical realms when the language was one that he didn't even know. He indicated that communication was done telepathically with no language problems.
