G'day back to you JustSomeTris. [:)]

Yes, I know Gosford, well I did back in the very early 80's. I used to live in Saratoga, right next to Mt Pleasant. Two things I remember most about living there - clouds of mozzies and a back yard full of funnel-web holes.[xx(]

Hope you get some useful info on the forums, but I would suggest if you are looking for a mentor, get a feel for what kind of direction your moving in, then try and find someone in your area. A flesh and blood mentor beats the internet any day!

In the mean time - enjoy!

Kind Regards,
James.

G'day JustSomeTris!  I'm not australian but I love the accent..[;)]

G'day again everyone. Thanks for the support - I'm more interested in Lucid dreaming. Even though it's all imaginary, the thought of creating and adventuring in my own worlds as I see fit is - well for lack of a better word Outstanding. Then again, I definatly want to have an OoBE in real time at some stage - as that would prove it all in my mind. We'll see how it goes i guess

Yes Nay, that's exactly what I'm talking about. [:)]

When I went bush walking around the mountain I used to live next to, I had to always make sure I was wearing some tropical strenght insect repellant. Those 'skeeters' would gather around you in clouds. I swear they'd also learned how to bite through jeans.

As to the Funnel-Webs, here's a site with a bit of info on them to nicely creep you out. I had a lot of their holes in our back yard and in the bush next to the house.[xx(]

[xx(] Eww... yep I hate spiders!  I've dealt with them, but prefer not to..

Back when I use to wear glasses, one morning getting ready for work, I stepped into the shower.  I was in the process of washing my hair when I looked down and saw what I believed to be a wad of that nasty hair that builds up..[xx(]  I reached down and picked it up...problem was it had a hard body to it, and all the legs stretched out to their true size!!  *SCREAM* !!!!!!! [:O][:O][:O]    dang thang was atleast 3inch across with them legs....[xx(]

Freaks me out just to tell it..LOL..*shiver*

I've had worst encounters with red belly black and brown snakes than spiders. The funnel web has a great trick of sitting on the bottom of pools in an air bubble though. That used to be scary as a kid...

G'day everyone, and a special G'day to all you Aussie's out there. I'm the noobie here - 18, male, NSW (Gosford for people who know the area). Just thought I'd say my greetings.

If anyone out there feels like being a mentor - love to have you along for the ride.

Cheers - Tris
