Just wanting to say hi

I'm extremely excited with my new found beliefs in life!
Though I've known about lucid dreaming for a short while, astral traveling and OBE's are a new and extremely intriguing subject to me which i have no doubt in my mind are the answers which i've been looking for.

I've no experience in any of the fields so i'm surely just coming into practice with everything.
My starting focus has been on:
1-becoming a more consistent spiritual practitioner and thus, meditating more frequently and efficiently.
2-becoming able to lucid dream as i feel there's so much to be learned from this practice alone!
3-through knowledge of chakras and things like that (though my knowledge is limited to anything more than the basics of everything i feel at this point) i eventually aim to becoming proficient in the use of Reiki as well...
4-after much of this is said and done and i've become a little more familiar with each practice as time moves on, my ultimate goal is to be able to visit the astral plane(s) but i assume having an OBE would be first in line...

So there lies my current position within everything.  You may see me around the forums a little later when i've found some questions i may need answering or something similar to that.  Mostly, your help and support is all i ask of any of you...  That and maybe a little kinship would be nice as well

ps.  My only question at this very moment is how long/short it has taken some of you to finally make it into the astral planes.  I've been learning about what seems to be all the basics and everything...  I'm just not sure it's smart for me to be skipping ahead and trying to enter right away.  -thx   (k)
