I have arrived! After years of experiencing (I'm in my mid 20's) Astral Projections and Remote Viewings I finally found a place where I can share my experiences and learn about others and not worry if I'm being weird. I am so relieved!!!! I have had wonderful AP and not so great ones. My biggest barrier is that for some reason I am afraid of the dark (I hope this doesn't sound childish) I prefer having AP in the mornings. I'll try to be a regular here...one question... why doesn't everyone experience this? Why us? None of my family or friends know what I'm talking about....it doesn't matter anymore...now I hope to find new connections...this was my missing link..How delightful!!!!!

Hello LavenderGirl

Welcome to the Forums!  I'm glad you found us and look forward to reading about your experiences.

If you haven't already, can I suggest you read the Astral FAQs and Permanent Sections - they are full of interesting posts.  :-)

As to why us?  Some say everyone projects when they sleep at night - and most don't remember.

I don't personally know, however I do think it's detrimental to start thinking that "we" are special in some way because we can do this.  It's just one of those wonderful mysteries of life.  Like some people seem to be gifted in speaking languages, or some have a head for mathematics etc etc.

I hope you enjoy your stay - feel free to ask any questions.

Hi RunLola,

Yes, the more I study AP, lucid dreams and remote viewings the more I can pinpoint on what I have experienced .I guess that now I can say that I have years of experience with AP through lucid dreaming. Believe it or not I have slept on my side for more than 15 years (I'm 26 now) in order to avoid having a conscious AP (I only have them when I sleep on my back). What can I say...I am a scared to AP consciously. That's why I visit the forums, to gain enlightenment by others and to get over the fear of projecting consciously.
If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

Have a great day!!!!! (I hope your eyes don't mind the color purple, its the closest to lavender)
