Hey everyone, i'm looking forward to gaining answers and helping all those that i can with my own personal experiences. I recently began to practice astral projection after having accidental experiences with it. The first time i projected was extremely frightening to me but it made me want to discover what it was all about. i found that if i fall asleep on my back for some reason, it will induce sleep paralysis almost every time. From what i've read, sleep paralysis is the ideal condition for projection. (Mind awake while the body is asleep) I would like to expand my knowledge and learn about other peoples personal experiences to improve my own abilities as well as anyone i could help.

Thanks in advance guys!

Welcome to the board.  :-)

I wanted to point out that if you're experiencing sleep paralysis, then you're technically already projecting.  In which case that's the point people start "trying" to move.

Since you are already projecting, stop "trying" to get up and just GET UP.
