New beginner here !

Hey!
I'm new to Astral traveling/projecting and I find it very exciting when I read about it.
So, how did I found here?
Well, I'm going in a media school where I'm learning graphics (much photoshop and illustrator software are used).
Last year I felt I'd run out of ideas and couldn't really get any. It felt like I lost all the creativity or something.
So I was googling around about how to increase creativity.
I found out that meditation can increase it AND can also fix stress and depression which made me even more interested.
I thought of start with it, but I really never did. (I don't know why, maybe I was too lazy to learn or didn't think it would work).
So, I forgot meditation when I didn't perform it.

But then at school in the religion lesson, we had to do a work where we choose something from a religion.
I started to read about buddhist meditation and thought of make that.
I googled loads and made work of it, and learned me more about it. About how to meditate.
Now I really thought of start and tried some evenings at home.

Then for just 2 days ago I found out a topic about Astral traveling on a huge forum I'm active on.
I got amazed of what I was reading, and kept on reading and came into topics of OBE's and Lucid dreams.


So for just a while ago I googled around, I wanted to know the differents between Lucid dreams and Astral traveling/projecting, and I found some topic from another dreaming forum, but was mostly about lucid dreaming.

So I googled on Astral travel forum, and I found this forum
I really want to learn me Astral traveling, I'll read more when I'm at home (soon math lesson).

Uhm, someone who got tips of where to start?
I thought of first try meditate often.. But how do I start to get into Astral projecting and OBE's ?

I don't really get if I should sit or lay down when doing Astral projecting? I readed about you can meditate to it, so then I also sitting?
But I'm reading people who's doing it when they lay down also? Both works?

Tried to search for "sit", but can't really find any results that seems to answer that question..
Tried for "sit or lay" but gave me nothing.


There's no big thread about how beginners start to come into this stuffs?
I've read on forum about there's many techniches too.

I found so great page that I've been reading for like 2 hours now, still not done.
Have got so much tips and all from it. This site http://www.ld4all.com/guide.html

But I haven't seen anything about performing meditation before going to bed, just says to breath in and stay relaxed.
But well, I guess if I try to meditate before bed, I'll be relaxed and it problary will be effective?

I'll start off already today with all these tips I've gained so far from the site. And continue read on this forum and other sites.

I thought of buy a book about Astral traveling
It's named "A Course in Astral Travel and Dreams" and is a step-by-step in 9 steps (1 each week or so), I got told.
