Hi everyone,
I'm Tim and I'm from holland, so maybe my english isn't perfect sometimes, but I'll do my best. I'm trying to have an OBE for 2 months now but nothing happened so far.

Hi there Tim!

I'm sure we can give you a hand!  What have you been trying so far?

You can try giving my eBook a read, I just updated it actually.
You can find it at the top of the following link:  http://unlimitedboundaries.ca/xanths-phasing-primer/

And welcome to the Astral Pulse!

First I tried to focus my mind on one object, but that didn't really work, but yesterday I tried to empty my mind without focussing myself on something and after five minutes I suddenly felt vibrations, that was the first time I felt them. So I think I endly found something that works.

Hi Tim from Holland.

Don't worry about your english.  Do what you can and I'm sure we can figure it out.

I will tell you that it took me 6-8 months of regular practice before I had my first projection (which isn't necessarily typical, many people can have them much sooner).  So don't be discouraged if it doesn't happen right away.  Just keep practicing.  I would also recommend that you start meditating daily.  Not only will it help your ability to project, but it's just all around good for you anyway.  Start small, 5 minutes twice a day, and work up to half and hour twice a day, etc.  Also, keeping a dream journal seems to help focus your mind on that side of your experience (the same side that OBE exists on), which can help facilitate OBE when you practice.
be awesome.

I started with a dream journal 2 months ago and I'm also meditating a couple of minutes a day. I know it can take a pretty long time before my first projection, but I keep on practicing.

then you're taking the appropriate first steps.

it really does seem to require a kind of paradigm shift.  you gotta get your mind into it and almost "think about OBE all the time".

but you seem to be on the right track.  keep at it.

we will do our best to guide you as much as possible when you want help.
be awesome.

I was just reading your eBook and I read that there is an exercise called "Noticing", but do you have to look at the blackness when the lights are off, or the blackness you see when you close your eyes?

Either.  :)
Whatever is going to distract you less.

Personally, I'd say lights off... but either is fine.

Ok, thanks, I've never heard about phasing before but I'm definitely going to try it.

You probably have.
Other people call it "WILD" (wake induced lucid dream)... except they're mislabeling it.  It's no lucid dream.  It's an astral projection.
