Hey, I have been fascinated by all this stuff, OBE, seeing ghosts, aliens, astral projection, how to speak to my spirit guide, and what not. I have read a little here and there about Chakras but I have not been able to achieve much.
I have studied many different things but all I have studied is jumbled up and not of much help. I really don't know where to start but honestly I want to know everthing.
I was wondering if you guys could help me.
NOTE: please do not direct me to the FAQ. I have looked at it but I do not know where to start. I need guidance. Any real help would truly, truly be appreciated.
Hi!
I can send you a few books on basic energy work, trance meditation and OOBE if you will give me your email. I can also give you advice on things like energywork, meditation, energy healings, but I think that the best way to get advice would be asking in the forums, because you will receive many diverse opinions and techniques.
I sent you a PM.
Greetings!
CaCoDeMoN can you also send me a topic because i have the same problem as Namra. My Email add: pol_ort@yahoo.com
THANKS in ADVANCE...
Hi Namara, and welcome :)
There are a few things I can recommend to anyone starting out in this area, or even if they've been studying this stuff a while:
* Take it SLOW!
It's very easy to become overwhelmed and confused with a barrage of new information and sensory (or extra-sensory) input. Take things easy and allow yourself to take in just a bit at a time.
A spiritual journey is not as much about doing as it is about being.
* Let your intuition guide you.
If something doesn't feel right to you, regardless of what other people say about it, leave it be, at least for now. Your intuition, your "inner knowing" is the greatest guide you can have. Learn to develop this as soon as possible, and it will help guide you further. Developing your intuition is easy - the more you trust it, the more it develops.
* Remember to ALWAYS HAVE FUN!!
Spiritual growth, no matter which way you come at it is about getting more out of life. You'll go much further enjoying what you're doing and learning than you will if it all becomes too hard and you have to push at it. If that starts to happen, just sit back and relax for a bit. The right things will come to you when its the right time, which is generally when you're relaxed and receptive.
Blessings,
James.
Hi and welcome!
The best thing is to pick a topic that you want to start with and work from there. There are a few posts in several forums from newbies currently, and I think there is some valuable advise given there, but really one cannot help you until you pick a direction to begin! (being that there are plenty of choices on topics, and all!!)
Meditation is always a wonderful place to start, in my opinion.
