Title: Wanting to Explore
Post by: gocloap on October 10, 2011, 10:47:57
Hi there. Me: I've always been interested in Spiritual "things", but lately Astral Projection has been my main interest. I had an experience a couple years ago where I work up in the middle of the night, and I couldn't breath. It sounded like a siren was going off in my head, and I also couldn't move. It was like sleep paralysis, but I think I was probably Astral Projecting in my sleep and then trying to get back into my body too quickly. So this has interested me ever since.

I was drawn to purchase a book on AP a couple months ago, and have been pretty excited to try and do it while awake. Based on the experiences and feelings associated with AP in the book, I've actually had some of them while meditating, but have never actually achieved it yet.

I hope to read about other people's experiences here, and explore the other forums as well.

Greetings gocloap and welcome.
Sleep paralysis (SP) sometime precedes OBEs but SP is Not absolutely needed for an OBE to occur.

If you peruse the titles to threads in both the "Welcome to the Out of Body Experiences Forum" and the "Welcome to Astral Projection Forum" you will find Many member's accounts of OBEs and APS (including several of mine btw).

Cheers  :-)

Thanks NoY. Grey, I'll keep an eye out for your posts. Thanks for the info/instructions.

Blis - When I first wrote it, it was along the lines of go-clo-ap, but has become go-clope over the last several hours in my mind.
