For the longest time I was seeing 9:11 all the time..in the car, on the microwave, on license plates you know? It was really freaking me out. I sorta came to the conclusion that 9/11 was like an omen or something bad like what happened on Sept 11, but I think I was seeing it wrong. If you add 9+1+1=11. Then I after that..I started seeing 11:11 all over the place also 3:33 was poping up. I think for a time I was in denial, but I read were one poster on a message board said that when he saw 11:11 that was his way of knowing that he was on the right track and was going in the right direction in life.

This is also my way of looking at things..when I see 9:11, 11:11 & 3:33 I think that's God's way of saying that I am on the right track.

dammit!!!! now im seeing 11 everywhere, at least 10 times a day. its like some compulsion to look at the clock at random times and find it reading 5:11, 11:11 every bloody 11 on almost every hour.

It's amazing how universal the 11:11 phenomena is. I have had people from different social groups bring it up in conversations. Different forums. I'm located in Australia by the way so this is an international thing. It is definately a time I see most often.

If you look up '11:11 mayan calendar' in google it'll come up with some sites you might be interested in looking at. It says that the mayan calendar finishes a 11:11

Supposedly, the winter solstice of 2012 ends on December 12 at 11:11 Universal Time.

Anyhoo, I think the 11:11 spottings probably have quite a bit to do with cognitive biases, like you're subconsciously looking out for it, so you actually pay attention when you're seeing it and don't notice when you're seeing other numbers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Cognitive_biases "Attentional bias"

Interesting point actually. Sometimes I've noticed that I've been seeing a lot of BMW's around. Obviously significant enough to bring it to my attention. The fact that I'd initially seen enough of them to pass a 'threshold', perhaps for my subconscious to start believing it's relevant, may then provoke further recognition of that particular make of car. Until the subconscious perhaps gets bored and stops recognising it.
