Well, I hope they don't happen too, none of that seems too pleasant.

Hello xander, the one I'm most concerned with is number 4.  How did you come to a conclusion that there might be a civil war?  I'm not saying its not impossible, just seems like the governemnt would simply use there powers to go into martial law, and simply use our own military to squash any rebellion?  I don't think it too practical.

I do have to say that I also am one who believe bin laden will be 'found' just before election time, then a guaranteed 4 more years.

Just my opinion [:)]

beavis

Hahaha you dont need to ask "god" to know those things. Most are obvious predictions from past events.

#1 Again, it doesnt matter if he gets the most votes.

#4 I will fight if it becomes necessary.

holy reality

civil war...
http://johntitor.com/

not that I believe that...

Everyone (including me) seems to really think bin laden will be "found" before the elections... what a drag.... especially since if so many people think that it might be more likely to happen... maybe.

I also think he will "foil" a "large scale" "terrorist" "attack" before elections come.

But I hope that if there is an attack it comes soon and tremendous blame gets pinned upon him for idiocy and it wasn't due to a lack of intelligence, just idioicy (like 9/11) so he gets out of office and someone hopefully competent gets in.

I was told something would happen on January 13th by some weird woman in black.

I also hope that the dems really push the Bush let 9/11 happen due to either gross incompetency or conspiracy issue and the fact that they still won't let us see the 9/11 report... and what he's doing to civil liberties and the constiution.

but they shouldn't soley be playing blame Bush, either.

I think I'll make a few predictions, but I'll be a little more conservative than Xander. These are basically just guided guesses. Maybe we can make more predictions and come back next New Year's to see how we did, eh?

#1 - A general discontent with the US government and world affairs will grow so strong that police force will have to be used and this will be downplayed by the media or else the media will try to make the government look like the victim.
#2 - Summer storms will be stronger this year than they were last year, and weather in general will be just as bad if not worse.
#3 - More weapons of mass destruction will be realized in the Middle East, including Iraq's, hidden away in other countries.
#4 - Earthquakes similar to the one that hit Iran will continue and will gradually grow more frequent and intense (over the next several years).
#5 - Another terrorist attack or multiple terrorist attacks will occur on American soil.
#6 - Bush will be re-elected, but once again there will by no means be a landslide victory for Bush.
#7 - Bin Laden will be found, and probably in the fashion in which Xander described it. Bin Laden will not be taken as peacefully as Saddam was, or else will be found dead.
#8 - Another new or especially deadly disease or virus will break out, just as SARS and the flu epidemic did in the last couple of years.
#9 - Relations with China will not permanently improve.
#10 - Russia will continue building nuclear warheads.
#11 - The Constitution will be further limited.
#12 - Issues with North Korea will become more intense.
#13 - Iraq will begin to rebuild though terrorist attacks there will not come to and end.
#14 - More issues will arise with the UN and its involvement in the Middle East, but they will be resolved for the most part, although possibly leaving some governments more bitter towards others.
#15 - A major American monument or symbolic location will be threatened, damaged, or destroyed by terrorists.

I guess that's it for now.

Well although general predictions of events with a slim chance to occur, I hope they all happen.

civil wars(revolutions) arent always just so easily squashed by mandates on cities and towns. Just because martial law is put in place, does not tend to dampen hopes for justice. I would hope this happens, I would hope civil war breaks out. Aside of the deaths that already occur in this world and from any resulting from civil unrest, the experiences we live tend to mold our society, and even the events that seem terrible, can in fact be positive in consequence.
I side with nobody but the eyes of fate, and any governmental institution that forces my hand in "their" wars and nonsense would be looking to the wrong face. Patriotism is pride, and excuse me, although I am not religious, I know I am living in one of the most religiously colorful countries, but I thought Pride was a sin? What is up with the bumperstickers talking of pride. I am sick of the media and the stars of media making comments that might or might not get slurred, and the people are then afraid and comment saying, "That was taken out of context" bovine excrement. I live in America, I appreciate america for what it is up to a point, but i am not an american, I am a human being, which is far more important than any national pride or patriot.

I agree with Aileron.  I hope it all happens as well.  At least tv will be more interesting.  I always wanted to see a guy run down the street with an AR-15 in hand anyways.  It puts excrement into perspective, you know.  Bottomline, it would be more fun for me anyways, given my twisted nature and all.

T_Kman0610

lol follower and aileron, you two are very sick twisted, i do agree about the more fun and interesting part though lol, that is true.[:P]

Come on people...

WHY ON EARTH DO YOU HOPE FOR ALL THESE BAD THINGS TO HAPPEN?

I want the government to change, but you know, maybe it's more prudent to hope for it to happen in a way that won't cost MILLIONS OF LIVES.... a US civil war would probably escalate into something much much worse and much more global.

I mean, come on... I can understand how in a certain light it would be "cool" if the people said we've had enough and we toppled "the man" but civil war would be far from ideal.

Even if WE won, (how can we take on rail guns and tanks with energy shields? they are coming and coming soon, not to mention all these "non lethal" bio weapons and horrible things we're developing for crowd control)

It'd be a guerilla war.. we'd be the Iraqis, basically.. every once and a while blowing something up then running and hiding in the woods and caves.. it'd take years upon years to topple all military and police forces, you know? Providing those forces refuse to fight in the war but I think there are enough nationalists in this country that would kill for it blindly even if it was their nextdoor neighbor on the hitlist...

So, assuming we win the guerilla war, and that WE (our generation sees the end of it) do you think we'd be in a better place than we are now? Think of the mass devastation to our country and all the new problems that brings about.. and while the war is going on think about what people such as China would do when they notice the government is spending all it's time fighting itself.... think about Russia and all the other nuclear powers... uncertainity breaks out in the world, our influence falls and someone else is going to try to pick it up and become the dominant superpower.

WW3 is a likely outcome of US Civil war... and that won't help any of us... it might help the children of the children of the children of the survivors .... but .... screw them, I'd rather the world stayed how it is and we just started improving things and using common sense and that people started WAKING UP...

or you know, maybe the merging of all human minds into a collective conscious and the ascent of the human race to a higher plane of existance...

that's something to hope for.
!..............!

Aileron

had a meteor never struck pangea, do you think humans would have emerged? Do you think the dinosaurs would have continued to evolve and adapt, and if so, for how long until that one single continent was depleted of resources, and environments in which to adapt to?
I am readily accepting of my destructive desires, but when I say I want these things to happen, know, just realize, it is not out of the want to see wanton destruction, it is out of the understanding that bad things do happen, and must in order to regrow.
There will be a time when we can willingly let go of the agony and hate that consumes the planet. There will be a time when we can communicate through collective conscious, and when we marvel at the beauty in the world and see only this.
That time has yet to come, and I'm not saying that we couldnt create this world if we actually tried, but know that we are not ready, and everyday life is an example of this, for change in only a positive spectrum. Every single moment that moves through you, you must see the dual role of everything. Male/Female, destruction/creation, christ/antichrist, good/bad, etc...it goes on and on. Our world is a place of balance, and to know it, to understand it, look for methods of patience. A war, even twenty wars starting tommorrow might not change the world when we want it, but it triggers the ideas, the love, the need for companionship, the leaders and the followers, the involvement of better opinions, different perceptions leading to cause and effect. It makes a better world through experience, through suffering and agony. We need the calm quiet, the peace, the love and happiness only because it is the treasure sought after through sufferance.
Yet if we destroy ourselves in this process what does that mean?
It means we had no patience, it means we weren't ready for the future we are liable for.
You don't walk into an unknown without some wish for prior knowing of what it is you might be risking entering into the unknown.

I'll tell you one thing I do believe. That it is time. Look around, things might be much more advanced than they were twenty, ten or even two years ago, but that does not mean we are in the epoch of our time. We are staggering, stumbling along an edge between awareness of true humanity, and ignorance.
We won't be able to make the plunge into either side until a marker has been made.

It doesnt take a genius, or even a prophet to know what will happen. It is, and has been always a cycle, always.
Don't fear what may come, it was always to be. If you accept it, you will have a much easier time learning from it.
Of course if you still disagree, then that is yours.
I only display my opinions and hope others might see a string of understanding. To give the memories of old a new image.
There is nothing wrong with good or bad things....only with stagnation.
St. Augustine - "Don't you believe that there is in man a deep so profound as to be hidden even to him in whom it is?"

Yea stagnation does blow.  Honestly, I just want it to happen so that things can be more interesting.  People die, people are born.  People are saved, people are tortured horribly.  The key to it all is indifference.  Of course, like I said, it would make things more interesting.

Nay

Hehehe..my post is going to be soooooooo much smaller than the rest.[:D]

I do not like to talk politics....but why is Bush so looked down on?..I never realized how many liberals where here.  Personally I think having someone in office that has a Military background is great!  Could you have imaginged Clinton being in office at the time?  He had already pulled out some troops that just happen to get ONE guy killed, and didn't finish the job!  Dang, the man couldn't stop thinking with his..ummmmmm..well, ya know, long enough to make a valid decision..and he was a draft dodger at that.

War is hell...but sometimes needed.

*bends over*...may the target on my arse, glow brightly in the night.

Nay.[;)]

xander

ROFLMAO!!! Me a liberal??? I'm actually impressed by how Bush has handled himself. Although I think Bush Sr should've took saddam out the 1st gulf war (it wouldve saved countless lives). I just hope that idiot Dean doesnt get the democratic bid. He is trully an idiot.

Ya might like protestwarrior.com. it's a republican forum.

well ya know, i seen this one thing on the history channel and they were talkin about a code which was dsigned for translating the tora, and this code was translated by computer. it made thousands and thousands of historical predictions which were all accurate. The code works and comes out like a word search, and many key words are found afterwards like for example the most recent disaster that happened was the 9/11 attack. key words that came up were: twin towers, plane crash, and terrorist atttack, and also osama bin laden.

there was another prediction which was about kennedy , i dont remember what key words came up but it was about the asassination.

anyways where im getting at is about bush. it says that god has spoken to bush and that he will be president for another 4 yrs. but he will be alot better this time. hes goin to shape up. some other predictions that are gonna come true are the osama bin laden thing. he will be found before election time. for being president. But NOTE: the last  two predictions is a theory because predictions made for the future by humans is hard, we dont know what to expect so we just come up with preditions and such and see if any key words come up., the tora code can predict but we dont know what its predicting  and the only way it will be right or wrong is to wait til it happens. this is kind of hard to explain how the tora code works but i hope im explaining good enough for you all to understand. try a search on the net im sure its on the net somewhere. Im done for now.

Thanx for listenin,

I recall seeing on coasttocoastam.com hat when they interveiwed someone regarding the bible code, he mentioned that the program was available to the public. It wasn't that expensive and 'm going to get it eventually.

Hopefully when I type my name into its program it shall say good things, enlightening things.

Aahhh, american politics, the biggest show on earth. Why don't you people just vote on another party than the democratic or republican?

Why do we even need political parties? Why can't we just vote on people based on their personal ideas on how things should go, rather than what party they came from?

hi, everyone -- just had to respond to the person that wanted someone more competent.  Have you seen the 7 little Foys plus one running for President in the Democratic Party.  If that is competence, I would hate to see their version on incompetency.  I also would like to see a 3rd party -- but then that is how we got slick Willie.

Have no answers -- but I am perplexed to see even a few comments wishing for the most awful of predictions to happen -- millions killed, USA destroyed, the rest of us enslaved, the planet devastated by some outside force or comet or demon.

Why would you want this?  Or do you think it will be just everyone else who dies and you will live?  For many of these scenarios, it seems to me that surviving them would be far worse than dying in them.

I have higher hopes for mankind and for my American brothers and sisters.  The future will not be perfect or problemless - or even without wars and other disasters.  That is just life for us.  However, I do believe that we, collectively, can focus on solving some of the problems we have now and creating a better future than some of the ones depicted here.

I would hope that no one's life is so boring that they actually relish the prospect of a civil war or nuclear one.  That will not end the boredom, just simply end your life.

Because thoughts are things and collective thought has great power, I would hope some of you re-think what you are focusing on as a part of your own, and the world's future.

Anyone who has ever experienced any of these traumatic and dangerous events some of you seem to hope for soon, will tell you they never want to experience it again....And with good reason.

Personally, I believe it is better to be a beacon in the night and a force for our collective good than to lead others into fear, anxiety, and despair - the very emotions that will draw more of those feelings towards you.

Take no life or moment of life for granted -- especially your own.

Peace...Jena

Tony M.

I think some of those premonitions were not really wishes from people. Don't take everything you read here to seriously.

Oh and Jena, if someone's bored, please don't tell them to kill themselves. There are other ways..
"You should always tell the truth, even when you lie."

greatoutdoors

Tony, Jena's post did not say to kill yourself if you're bored. She said that wishing for war, etc. because you are bored will get you killed. I think most of those posting those "wish it would happen" sentiments are just young -- life hasn't smacked them around very much, yet. [;)]

As to Bush, he's not perfect in MHO, but he's the best of the lot so far. Frankly, I'm one of those who tried for a viable 3rd party, and it did backfire. Of course, I wasn't a strong Perot-nista, either, just asserting my rebellious nature! [:D]

Tony M.

What did you mean Jena? I'm not convinced that she meant GET killed in stead of kill yourself.
"You should always tell the truth, even when you lie."

to those who seem NOT to understand the spectrum of perceptions. I have spoken of this and explained the underlying topic of hopes for war.
Let me say again, I do not wish to see people dead, but I will come out and tell you that if it costs me my own life just to change things, please, by all means load your rifle.

Inevitably all life must come to conflict, animals, insects, even plantlife. The environment surrounding that conflict is saturated in what would be known as a phoenix blanket. The surface waits for the destruction, because over time, that which is destroyed, is rebirthed. Not by magic, divine providence, or earthly forces or even science, but because this is how nature reacts.
When a human tongue is severed it repairs itself after some time because it has only slight regenerative capabilities.
When you grab a certain species of lizard by the tail, the tail comes off and regrows.
When you make a footprint in an uncivilized muddy forest area, if left alone, plantlife regrows in and around the print.
This is nature, this is the way we are meant to find answers. Given answers come at times readily available for us in less than thermodynamic means, but we can't sit around and expect to eventually be communing telepathically or sending forcewaves to each other, or hovering around without any kind of technology to keep us afloat, or even evolve spiritually without a means to reason out where that change came from. Why would we change, when the world changes anyway? Thats the point, change comes, and you CANNOT avoid conflict, at least not forever.
So to all those people who believe that we can settle our differences through peacful means....your right.
However, not every difference is seen the same way through each pair of eyes of which do see them. Some differences must be settled through conflict, not just because it is inevitable, but because the strongest lesson learned, is the lesson learned through blood.

I do not condone, nor condemn war. I have my opinions about how things should be, but I do little to interfere because I found that nature takes its course and winds its own path, with or without us. We can stop a war here and there....but dont believe that peace is such a simple prospect that all we have to do is stop fighting and there it is.

Your american brothers and sisters by the way jen, are the same brothers and sisters who are fighting in iraq, who went to vietnam and did both heroic and evil things, who lied to us about WMD, who try and control the world for the rest of the world, who give and take just the same as the rest of the world.
American is just another word for seperation by wealth of technology.
St. Augustine - "Don't you believe that there is in man a deep so profound as to be hidden even to him in whom it is?"

Jenadots

Good evening all.  I certainly did not main for anyone to kill himself.  Just that in any kind of war situation, no one is immune from dying in it.  Once a war starts, anyone is a target...you, me, the person sitting next to you.

Tony M.

Ok, sorry. I should have read all the posts before coming to my conclusion.
