i think i understand the first one its pretty interesting.

theory 1
maybe im reading this wrong but it seems to say the only way to start the ending of mankind

is to realize when and or how the others have given up hope and to embrace that fact.

this seems to make seance for if all of mankind were to stop trying to make change and advance on they would soon stop existing like other civilizations that just disappeared before

theory 2 is that it says the only way to bring to end of mankind is by trying to comprehend why other civilizations thought that their civilizations would never end, or in short translation to take the first step in trying to avoid disaster would actualy start it.

either way if that is what this is saying and if this is a prophecy, then actually finding the meaning to this would mean this would be the start of the ending of mankind.
i hope not because i got to many questions gone unanswered XDD
