Sometimes when I'm wide awake and at varied times of day, (or night) There is a strange calm that surrounds me. Or better yet, it feels like nothing is around me at all. I usually feel a "warmth" of sorts even in cold temperatures near freezing all the time. This "lack of" thing passes within a few minutes usually. This can also happen when I'm around people, or no one within my personal proximity. Any ideas on what is happening?

Thanx-

Maybe it's a slight shift of consciousness. Supposedly our level of consciousness changes slightly many times throughout the day, and this is a new shift for you.

Na, it isn't mental exaustion at all, I'm wide-awake and focused as usual. No fatuige whatsoever when I seem to "shift" like Stookie said. I'm just seeing if when that does happen, if there's something I can take advantage of to further my ?skills.

Thanx for the replies so far. Keep em' commin-

well when i felt that sudden nothingness...it feels like even nature itself has silenced and nothing seems quite so real. Somone else told me it means the coming of a powerful presence. Maybe it's the effect when a powerful being enters the astral or something. It doesn't happen to me that often though. Maybe your highly attuned to that sort of thing so you feel it more often
for what shall it profit a man if he is to gain the world and lose his own soul?

I've experienced the same thing. I attribute it to a slight phase shift in our dimensional field. I think Einstein called it a rift in the space/time continuum. I'm sorry I can't explain it better because I don't have the academic ability. I just feel it in my gut and my gut usually tells the truth.

When a person begins meditation it's normal for a trance-like state to show up in normal life every one in a while. I've read (from my main-man Rudolph Steiner) it's good to notice this and bring yourself to a fully-aware physical level and save trance for other times when it's intended.

If that's what's happening.
