According to the sensations you get, you make it probably right. They will not become visible, at least not to normal sight, so don't bother with it. Move on to make more complex constructs and program them the way you like.

The only people that could probably see it won't be impressed.  Psi-Balls are more of a training tool than anything practical(I had to actually look them up when I came here, I mean I've made them and played with them, but only as an excercise during meditation).  Take the same amount of energy and work on some type of kinesis if you want something you can demonstrate.

[]iv been practicing on making psiballs for over a YEAR now, and i cant make it visible! my fingers twitch, my hand tingle, and sometimes they get hot. but i cant do anything else! am i doing anything wrong?
