thats sweet,  First try I did really well check it  out,

final score 18
1.125 stnd dev.
sig: 0.13702850966409016 a score of this many hits can be expected by chance every 7 runs.

Ive done standard deviation for calculating many different things in biology classes,  I know that .13 signifigance is VERY signifigant,
opinions are like kittens, just give 'em away

Jon_88

I dont know what is good or not in this test (to be called ,under influence of me ). But i got some points in the moving pendulum test.
Tried the others a time to , but it always went to the opposite side.

So what you all think , fluke or ?(and why does it say misses i got it the way i tried?)

Viper_05

hmm i dont get this.. are you suppose to move it with your mind ?

This is really just a fake. I started the experiment and than thought about something else. First time I got 30 then -20, and when I put intention to move it to the right it was all the same.

OverDriven

Its not a scam...it uses a random number generator and you must use Micro-PK (the ability to affect chance outcomes) to move it. I know I have moved it significantly...I can pull the line right off the bell curve to the far right or left at will.

beavis

Its not a standard random number generator. The numbers are not "pseudorandom". They are generated by some function of the speed of radioactive decay. When the next number is requested, it is generated right away from physical matter, which can be affected by telekinesis.

Jon_88

did the clocktest 8 times , and 2 of them made 1 hour past , score 25 and 29 expected per 15 round . More notebly was the fact i got none with negativ score .

So for you who thinks you influence it , does it always do as you think or is it kinda a strugling motion (with a few backsteps)?

And what score do you are you satified with ,to say you influenced it?

Blackstream

-2, .125 sd, .4626 significance, wide goal for pendulum, supposedly I can get this once every 2 runs :/

On the clock, clockwise I got 14, .875 devs, 1/5

Then the big one, I did the bell curve.  Immediately it went the way I wanted it to, and just kept going

Final Score 40, 2.5 standard devs, .006 significance, a score of that many misses could be gotten once every 147 runs.

So so far it seems to be going the direction I choose before hand right?  So now I decided to pick right as my goal, but will it to the left anyways.  Let's see what happens!

It ran off to the right anyways! 28 score, 1 in 27 chance of it happening.  Not one to be discouraged, I decided to try focusing on left, with goal right again.  This time it did indeed go to the left, but I got 1 in 3 this time.  Then I tried right with right and got 1 in 3 again.  Finally I decided to not even look at it.  Got a 1 in 2 chance with a final score of 2.  Very close to even.

In the end I decided that I most likely did not affect the thingie in any way, although it always went in the direction I wanted it to, except for one time.  What does this mean?  I could be a sham, or maybe not.  The only way to know for sure is to look at their code and compile it yourself and try the same experiment.

What do you guys think ;)

Good thinking ill try a few opposite goals set.

Fat_Turkey

I don't get how the scoring system works.

Please help..

No amount of rigorous training, sitting and doing nothing, and clearing one's mind can help a man who hasn't overcome his doubts.

The closer to 0 the score is, the closer the test is to being completely random.  The higher the positive number, the more the test is leaning towards your goal.  On the bell curve test, if your goal is to move the line to the right, a small positive number means you've moved a little to the right, and a large positive number (like say 100), means you've moved a lot to the right.  The lower the negative number, the further the object has moved to the opposite of your goal.  In the bell curve test where the goal is right, a line on the left of the center would be a negative.  For the clock, if your goal was clockwise, it would be going counterclockwise.  For the pendulum, if your goal was wide swings, it would be hardly moving.  I'm sure you get the idea.  Basically the higher the better (duh).  If you get a large negative tho that's also meaningful, so look out for those.

Arcane

I got a score of 451 and 605, and i was in the lounge watching tv during the experiment. hmm.

If you mean the 1 in 200 chance stuff, that's the chance that what just happened happened by pure chance.  So if you get a 1 in 3, that's not very good as 3 pure random runs will probably produce one of those.  Whereas if you got a 1 in 6000, that's a good indicator that there is some ability there, especially if you continuatly get that high.

Life_afterdeath

Final Score:30
1.875 standard deviations
significance 0.03258353347095872
A score of this many hits can be expected by chance every 30 runs.

Boys and girls, I do believe it's a scam.

Life_afterdeath

I left the computer and got a score of 7.
It's BS

Blackstream

A score of 7 can easily happen by random chance and proves nothing.  Now if you left it on and continuatelly got scores of 30+, then we'll ahve something to talk about.

Aphex-twin

Whats the higest score you have gotten, mine was 90

Aphex-twin

My new high score was 130 this isnt fake. The cool thing is i can influence it to go negative or positive at will thats how i know its real.

hysterix

The debate of whether this is real or not really is over now.  It is not a scam or fake in any way.  It is exactly how beavis explained it, with the way you can influence the particle which is how they get these numbers.  I also experience it when I'm focused I can pull the needle which ever way I please, it is fun to do.  I have actually gottin the needle two or three full screens over to the right, it just keeps going to a new screen so you can keep pulling it.  What's also funny is when I'm not focused and try it, I actually make it go opposite of the way I want it to.  So as its going left, I'm trying to make it go right, and vice versa.

I also want to make sure everyone who is doing it is inputting their e-mail address and doing a record experiement, and not a demo or practice run.

If you read a bit of what they are doing, they are weeding out the general public, and if you do significant enough, they will get in touch with you via e-mail to possibly do more experiements?

Peace [:D]

How far off center can you move the line? Its the only game I've seen with no controls except the start button. I've moved the line a few times, so it is possible to affect radioactive decay rates very far away. Look at the line very lightly and see where thoughts about it lead you. Dont think about the radioactive material. Too hard to find.
