Losing memory is usually caused by the death of neurons that dont contain the memory but provide access to it. Many memories are stored overlapping in groups of neurons. The other memories in the same location can still be used, but not the lost memories because remembering them requires one of a subset (of an exponentially large set) of fire orders of the input neurons to the memory location, and the death of certain neurons prevents most (but not all) of those orders to occur.

When people lose their memory, the memory usually still exists, and can affect their thinking in unconscious ways. In a way, they are still the same person.

So what happens if someone loses their memory, then enters the astral?
They are not bound by the laws of physics, and therefor not using a physical brain? Would the person then remember these things?

your memories still exist they are stored in the fabric of reality for anyone (or yourself) to access if you want, past lives can be accessed via meditation etc,

your neurons prolly don't store your memories, think your brain as an antennae, your brain is only focused on the present life, it'll take a bit of a retuning for you to access your other lives,

those zeta's don't have all the answers, im convinced its a bit of a construction from a couple of people, but their theories are a nice hodgepodge of many different belief systems

Since a spirit cant use a brain after the brain dies, but (we assume) it remembers what happened after that, then the content of the brain doesnt limit what the spirit remembers.

Hiya all.. I was thinking the other day about something.
I think this would be a good question to send to the Zetas..
Anyway, here goes:

When people lose their memory, and start from scratch, start a new life... what happens to the original memory?
Is it like a new soul is taking the place of the body, and the original soul leaves?
What happens when someone who has lost their memory enters the astral? Surely they can remember who they are there?
