Auric Vision In The Astral

I have a question and am hoping that someone has had a similar experience because I have not been able to come up with an explanation on my own.  During an OOBE yesterday, I looked into the mirror for the first time.  I saw myself as well as my aura.  I knew instinctively that it was my aura... It was about 6 inches away from my body and about 3 inches thick... It was a perfect rainbow.  Then up and to the right there was a star... almost cartoon perfect geometric shaped- not like a real star.  Also, my projections are ALL involuntary and I am highly aware of both what is going on around my sleeping body as well as where I am projecting to..if that makes sense.  I don't typically post on sites like this but am hoping for some insight.

I was the same way when I was younger, all my projections were spontaneous.  We are very lucky.

Rainbow and stars, wow!    Back when I used to look in the mirror I couldn't make out my form, it would be distorted in one way or another.  Probably for the best, I'm thinking if I saw a cartoon star I would have started laughing and mucked everything up.

I did have some questioning thoughts about the "cartoony" star and wondered if I wasn't purposely seeing the star- projecting a lucid dream onto what I was seeing.  But am still not sure... It wasn't too cartoony- and maybe it was a star and the cartoon was just how my mind translated it in order to recall it properly- I'm not sure.

Exactly.... It may or may not be your aura but it is if you were not thinking about auras when you were looking into the mirror at yourself. Any thoughts on the astral plane can materialize instantly... So what i have heard and i wont know until i finally get out. Good Luck.
