You reminded me of something I was told last year. When I am running group meditations I get the circle to bring up the light energy and push it around the circle to build up the power... this was an idea from previous lives that I remembered.
After one particular group session with 26 people I was told that during the meditation my hands were moving in circles. I wasn't aware of this at first, except at a sub-conscious level. I knew it was happening because I needed to keep the power up by pushing the energy around during the time the group was focused on their 'seeing'.
Now I find that I am fully aware of doing it and understand that for me it is because of the need to keep that energy building up around the group, as it provided heaps more energy/power for the people to use in their focus/journey/meditation.
I learned that it was also something that some of us with previous lives as Wizards/Druids etc did/do now. Maybe this could also be behind your discovery ? Anyway, I hope this helps a bit.

Hey everybody!
I'm not exactly sure where i should be posting this one, but since it may be a metaphysical things, i guess this will have to do for now. If it gets moved, so be it.
I've noticed a pattern of hand movements recently. It doesn't matter if i'm walking, sitting, or standing. I'll be moving my hands about for whatever reason and i'll fall into this circular motion. It hasn't happened to me before until recently. And it's not something i do on purpose. I'm not saying i relinquish contorl of my hands, on the contrary it does seem like i am moving my hands of my own will, but i never have any intention of moving them in that motion. It's not until i start doing that i realise what i'm actually doing.
This has happen a few times in the past month and a bit i suppose. I'm not saying it's anything metaphysical. It may just be my sub-consciouss doing it for whatever reason. I'm just wondering if anybody has experienced this before or if anybody has heard/read about it before.
I'm not sure if they move in the same direction all the time, but as i remember it the last couple of times i think they start moving in vertical circles, revolving away from me. It's relatively fast as well, not a slow revolution.
The only thing i remember reading about hand motions was Carlos Castaneda's book on some shamanic practice i believe (i never read the book, just the summaries in different reivews). That seemed to be more dealing with purposeful movements though.
So, as you can see, i have no idea of what this could be, so i decided to post about it on here. Anybody have any ideas or clues?
