Post by: Joe_Oh on June 23, 2005, 01:37:48
Instead of the usual "I am glad to be healthy" how about "My body is very healthy" or something like that, are there different types, or does the all-intelligebell universe/god only recognize "I am" or whatever-

Honestly, affirmations kinda suck.  Try NLP, self hypnosis, silva mind control, or Phasing to focus 2 or Fz to change things about yourself.  These are MUCH more powerful because you are at deeper levels of mind and you can make changes to your subconscious.

Yes, true, they work, but so do affirmations. Never dismiss their potential. Anybody can use affirmations at any time. They don't require any training or any external equipment, and the more you use them, the more effective they become.

Joe, the principal behind affirmations is making a statement to the universe of something that you choose to be true. The trick here is to word the affirmation as if what you want has already happened, or already exists. You're telling the universe that something IS, and so the universe will tend to believe you. You don't need to use "I Am" if it's not the right situation for it. Use any phrase that makes a statement of fact - I can, I have, it is, etc.

Blessings,
James.
