Astral sight?

Recently i've had three instances which I thought i'd post here in order to gain some clarity from each situation. The first involved smoke rising from my fingertips and around my skin, although the "smoke" didn't seem to move slowly but more like flames. the second instance occurred while my eyes were shut. It seemed as If I could still see, but no definite shape just the energy signature of certain things if that makes any sense. The third involved concentrating on a fixed position above me, and it seemed as if the energy in the air formed an image. The first was an unrelated image of an older woman who I didn't know, the other three were like... watching myself, and the other people I was with from different angles. Although the images themselves seemed sketchy. Any thoughts?

Sorry, can't say I've had experiences like you've mentioned.  It does sound like you are able to sense/see energy though.

I recently spoke to someone about this, and these are his views. The "sight" I was talking about isn't clear concise sight including colours, defined shapes and textures etc, but more of a radar sense. When things are static they come up, which denotes an ability to sense kinetic energy. However, with this sense i've also occasionally witnessed potential energy, and been able to make out (although very weakly) shapes of areas around me.

The smoky fire... still sketchy on that. Originally thought to be the etheric sheath, which radiates heavily when healthy and rested or thinly when tired or weak. However, i've received a different opinion on that as well. Apparently the etheric sheath shouldn't look like flames.

And as for the visions, basically just second sight. Very weak second sight. Because the visions were sketchy and were perceived as weak outlines struggling to hold their form. All except one though, which was a black and white still. I suppose moving images would take more energy than stills anyway.

Any thoughts?

Who says that it couldn't look like flames?  I wouldn't close my mind to the possibility.  My first thought about the flames was aura related.

No worries. It's true, I try to keep my mind open to every possibility. This other opinion that was brought to me recently says that it is my etheric sheath/veil, but i'm manipulating it somehow to look like flames. Still sketchy on that. I'd also neglected to mention two other things. One was regarding the flames, the other regarding light. I'd sat there and tried to make shadows appear where light was, and light appear where darkness was. making shadows grow longer and making light invade shadows. Every time I'd stop concentrating on doing it though, i'd feel short of breath, a little drained. And as for the flames, i'd been staring into my palm watching the flames lick upwards into the air, and tried to manifest a sphere above my palm. it started to form weakly, like strands of fabric coming together. I can't really explain it very well, but yeah the same thing happened again. A shortness of breath, draining effect. Strange...
