Title: Every time I get good at telekinesis...
Post by: PyroPsion69 on September 21, 2003, 15:43:49
When I first started practicing, I could spin the psiwheel really well, and then for a while I stopped practicing for a stupid reason (it didn't seem useful at the time) but when I decided to take it up again, it took about 2 weeks of frustration and not being able to spin it before I could spin it well. Today actually I had a great TK session, almost total control over the wheel (though it didn't like clockwise[xx(]) Oranges help too. Just keep at it.

I've practiced almost everyday for 6 months (excluding 1 month when I was very distracted) and had some great results. I will continue practicing. But why does what I learn stop working?

Maybe I'm learning similar to this way: If I met a girl I like at a store, I might assume that if I keep going to that store I will keep meeting girls I like. But that might be the only one ever at that store and I should look for something else about the girl.

I could be learning things about specific telekinesis events that arent relevant to telekinesis in general. What should I pay attention to?

Mine is a piece of aluminum foil balanced on a vertical needle in a clear box.

You whant to say that this(glass or plastic box) prevents air flow.

Do you use plastic or glass box?

An energy builds and is released, but it's possible to forget to build it or to forget to release it.

Practice what you already know. When you get better at it, you might see how its similar to moving it other directions, or bending it.

I've moved my psi wheel in my clear box over 1000 times.

When you can all float a car in mid air using the power of TK, then i'll be impressed. [;)]

After having visualized the currents, which both power and oppose the psiwheel, reduce the opposing ones - even on large objects. In reality, few will be impressed if you move a car, and those have nothing much to offer.

Maybe I was wrong. For the last month, my telekinesis has been consistently more powerful than last month. I've started moving the blades of a fan more often than my psi wheel.

Building faith. The power was always there.

The cycle continues. It happened again. I havent been able to do any telekinesis for a week. Here's my theory on it:

I get some energy.

I use it like it will never run out. The more I use, the more energy I feel like I have, so I use as much as possible.

A few days or weeks go by and it runs out.

I give up on doing telekinesis.

My energy supply slowly increases, and it repeats.

Can anybody think of something else that could cause that?

Boredom.

I'm bored of not being able to put much force on something during telekinesis. The first few months, my power increased exponentially, and it didnt show any sign of stopping that trend, but now it has leveled off and sometimes for weeks decreases to nothing. If boredom is the cause, its a paradox. Stop being bored to increase telekinesis ability, so I wont be bored.

Any other ideas?

Its kinda corny, but having a really good motivational drive helps a lot. Like when I first started I really wanted to see if I could do it, and it was easy as pie. Then it started becomming druggery, and my skills went down the tube. Now after a long haitus I think its time I start practicing again.

I've always been a bit of a prankster, so I think how cool it would be to harrass people in study hall when I'm bored and have nothing to do. I've also wanted to try and get good at moving a little matchbox car and drive it like its remote control [;)]. Man I wish I was a kid again, because having fun with TK makes it so much easier.

How much sleep do you get? I find that I do EVERYTHING best when I have around exactly 9-10 hours of deep sleep. Too much I get lazy, too little I get tired. The better condition I am in mentally, the stronger I can control the wheel.

...it works for a few minutes to a few days then that method stops working. I am talking about things I learn that are too complex to write. Does this happen to anybody else? How can I get consistent results?
