Title: Fractal Timewave and Singularity theories
Post by: kraz18 on August 24, 2003, 16:21:48
I agree on what u said beavis, that technology's level will reach infinity in a finite time. And I believe this will append because our machines, robots, computers will be able to drain their power directly from the universal energy that is everywhere. Imagine a robot being able to do a hundreds times what we can do in a entire life of training. They'll fly, warp, move faster than light...

Fractal Timewave Theory:

Singularity Theory (very similar):

Technology (especially computers) has been increasing on an exponential curve. Both theories talk about an asymptote in a technology or "novelty" curve where the technology level will reach infinity at some finite time. I was expecting something similar even before I read these. Do you think that will happen? Is the data valid for fractal timewave theory?
