Title: Herbs to aid in Concentration
Post by: vikram88 on July 10, 2003, 11:14:27
First of all what is ADD?

I don't know about any herbs or stuff to increase concentration.

To increase concentration you will have to start meditating on a daily basis. Try solving some tough problems of maths or physics. And most of all start energy development on a daily purpose.

Try damiana and skullcap. Both are relaxants, both can be bought at just about any co-op or bulk herbal store and both can be made into a nice tea.
To make tea just buy a small cloth bag (they only cost a dollar or two) and put the herb into that bag. I always add a bit of cinamon for flavoring. Then let the cloth bag soak in a pot of very hot (but not boiling) water for 20 to 30 minutes. You can drink hot or warm or let sit in a refrigarator and serve cold (with lemon). It is possible to make up to one gallon of tea at a time. And there is no caffeine.

Greetings,

I'm pretty new here but I just wanted to mention that while it's not an herb omega 3 supplements appear to help many ADD/ADHD suferers.

vikram88,

ADD stands for Attention Deficit Disorder

ADHD = Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

nuecreature,

Besides Greytraveller and Grigori's suggestions, you can also try a Google search for say: ADD herbal remedies, and see what you come up with. Hope you come across a good natural remedy.

Very best,

I was wondering if anyone knew off any herbs or natural substance's to aid in concentration. Being A.D.D I run into alot of problems doing energy work anything else that requires extreme concentration. So I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem and what helped them.
