I think a good base for starting in these things is to start small, simple, and basic. First off, try meditation. It's a good starter, and can be quite calming. How do you meditate, might you ask?

First off, get comfortable. Lay down, sit up, stand, whatever. Comfortable? Good. Now, concentrate on a point just between and behind your eyes. Imagine it's location. Don't visualise it, just feel that very spot in your head. Do this for 15 minutes a day.

Seem boring? Trust me, if you can sit for 15 minutes concentrating on one point in space, you'll get a good jump start. After a month, you learn a few things that help you later on. Mainly patience, and strength in your mental.

In your waking time, read stuff on the forum. I suggest topics on phasing. Delve in to it if you want, but as long as you keep up meditation, it'll give you a boost.

After a while the meditation can be considered included in your practices. At first I strongly suggest keeping them septerate. You're starting in a new world, and you may get confused a lot. Try to keep it pure until you have your feet under you educational wise.

Most important, have fun.
As it as written, now and forever shall be. In the name of the Stevo, amen.

Thanks very much for your reply and i will consider it, although i have meditated for long before but when i used to meditate i used crystals to meditate, i was going through a tough time with something i had done when i was very young, feelings of guilt, anyway while i was doing this i called for GOD and the white light of JESUS CHRIST and to cut a long story short i brought EVIL things in my room and thankfully if it wasn't for my MOTHER, who can sense these sorts of things, told me that something was in my room... I knew as she said it that it was me... So I'm afraid to meditate again... What advise do u have...???

To NEIMAD222, welcome to AP :). Yes, I agree that the paradigm shift will be a tough process for humanity. Most of us are still trying to unchain ourselves from old newtonian classical physics. The more open-minded we are about quantum mechanics and the supernatural role we as human beings play in this universe, the faster this global paradigm shift may proceed.

Hint: the key to effective meditation is focusing on the breathe (prana), and by doing so, you shall establish good rhythm. Let go of any invasive thoughts; acknowledge their existence but dismiss them as such. You'll get better with practice, as with anything else in life. Also don't be afraid to meditate just because you had one bad experience trying it. People face their fears all the time so that they can conquer them. Fears are like challenges. Face those fears, and soon those fears will fear you.

"Meditation" essentially means slowing your brainwaves into the Theta frequency (around eight Hertz or a little lower).  At least that's what neuroscientists discovered when they hooked up a bunch of experienced meditators to EEGs.

It was always hard for me to do that, at first.  Then I discovered the techno-shamanic means to the same end, using sound to entrain brainwaves (synchronize to the beat you're hearing).  Some training with that has enabled me to slow down my brain at will, without the routine of finding a quiet place, lying down, etc.

Lots of sources exist for such sound.  Try a web search for brainwave entrainment, Theta.
It's all true, unless it isn't.
