Post by: Meringue on November 05, 2010, 07:35:16
When you enter a picture on a wall, or a photograph, with ability to walk further into a world of the picture, interact with objects and beings there... etc. Thank you.

I'd call that... "walking through a picture into another world".  :)

I've heard it called "Virtual Reality projection".

I think I remember that from Astral Dynamics?

Yes, it's definitely from Astral Dynamics.
I thought I had read that before.  It's in the old version at least... I'm sure I read it in his new edition too.
I'll have to check it when I get home.

Occultists call it Pathworking and commonly do it with Tarot Cards, Runes, Myths & Legends, Alchemical Carvings/Paintings, etc.

Though, this is often done from a waking state as opposed to an astral projection (though in truth, doing this from a waking state tends to lead to projection).
