The reason is all of them are very hard to explain in context. in person it is better becuase you see what they are doing. they tell you what they are thinking and presto! but its hard cause everyone is differant and everyone has their own method. i would love to teach you telekinesis but i cant explain it because its way to hard to explain.

Start out with basic Psionics. Learn basic constructprogramming, linking, perhaps a bit of Telepathy (scanning, pinging, etc), etc. You'll understand the concept of energymanipulation way better when you've done so, and you'll also understand how to use your willpower and visualization to do something.
