All information on the past is stored in the Akashic Records, so if the events you saw actually happened, they probably did come to your from the records. There are as many ways to access the records as your imagination allows you.
What is the sound of no leaves cloving?

DrShaman

That's fascinating. Do you have any experiences with this?

I have also relived som memories from two of my past lives. Is this also accessing the Akashic Records? I've read that past lives are stored in the aura.

DrShaman - I've had a similar experience.  But it was extremely brief.  Which is one of the things that made it so amazing.

I was meditating one day with intentions of visiting Akashic records.  Thoughts of a friend of mine kept interfering so, I eventually decided to hold one thought of him to see what would happen.

I had a flash of an image.  It only last a second.  But in that second, I felt emotions, saw a moving image, heard sounds of what was happening in that scene.  Sort of like I must have lived it once. It is fascinating.  The dress of the person was ancient.  And either the scene was one of impending violence or, erhmm, sex.[:I]
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a  well  preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting,

". . . holy sh*t . . . what a ride!"

If you thought about your friend when you did this, maybe you picked
up some of his old memories and emotions.

You know, I told him about it later. He asked me to not do this anymore.  He was always totally against me trying any kind of meditation or AP.  Anyway, I've respected his wishes to not include him in these types of practices.

Although, it's still interesting to think about what happened.

Is picking up memories from the past the same as accessing the akashic record? I want to know because I had a very interesting shamanic ceremony at an old cult place in Sweden, where I picked up events and memories from the bronze age and from the Vikings. This was the first time I managed to pick up really old events, but I'm going to practise more with this stuff.
