There was a thread here on image streaming that I saw a few days ago but it seems to have disappeared.
Does anyone know the difference between image streaming and remote viewing?
Is remote viewing developed by practicing image streaming?

Meditation develops in a predictable continuum . Image streaming is one of those stages . When images flood the mind in related strings . Each string will have a few symbols or images and that ends one message than another message begins . These messages are generally about facing conflicts in the meditators own life at that stage .
An obe can be performed blindly or with sight . Remote viewing means to see clairoyantly by projecting a part of your consciousness as in an obe . In a meditative state it is possible to project just the portion of consciousness which will allow one to see in a remote or far away location . This can be done in many ways . One can see through the eyes of another in that location and just receive the messages or one can bi locate and send a part of the consciousness to see while the body is awake to recall and perhaps react to what is seen .
So no they are not the same thing . But you could while remote viewing link with another at that location and pick up a message from their energy
which comes to your mind as image streams .
Remote viewing can begin after image streaming begins . At that point in one's development , it should be possible to visualise the roads on the way to a mate's home for example and when you arrive at that home to have a peek . You should look for something which will give you confirmation that you were there and not something matter of fact like you were watching tv when that is the expected activity at that time .
From what I gather, remote viewing is a difficult, or a more difficult endeavour, than complete astral projection?
I usually experience image streaming when I am tired, if I close my eyes, I'm awake but don't feel a need to get up and do stuff but at the same time don't feel a need to sleep. A story begins developing in front of me like watching a movie. Unfortunately I have to go with it with complete detachment, otherwise, as soon as I become aware of it - it stops and becomes what would probably be called "normal thinking".
Although if I manipulate the story and then get it back sometimes it carries on from the change that took place. So these are probably not insightful messages, but rather my mind just imagining, and flowing creatively, building images and stories from the subconscious. Is there a way, to access the universal consciousness... or, make the messages from image streaming become meaningful and not just fantasies ect?

Btw redcatherine, I was was following your thread with Robert Bruce about Kundalini and someone asked me about it last night, and I was looking for it for almost an hour and finally gave up. I can't recall in which forum it was posted, do you have a link to it?

lol I was following it too
but it was deleted
I am not sure why
but at the same time
i also had posts of mine altered
and inflammatory sentences inserted
Tom wrote to me and asked what happened
but did not respond when i asked him what they were going to do about it
and Frank locked the thread that was altered
and so it goes .
