Thanks for this post Adrian.

There is a great deal of info in this document and I've only just started reading it!
I'm interested in learning more about this race, as I'm just starting to get to know one member of it.

If this document is read with a clear and open but objective mind, there is much in it (so far) that makes sense. Barbara does not seem to be trying at all to be sensationalistic, or going overboard with technicalities or suppositions, but rather seems to be just telling it like she heard it.

I'm actually in the middle of reading "Bringers of the Dawn" by Barbara Marciniak. I believe the entire thing is channeled information from the Pleiadian race. Although it seems to be a little unstructured at times, the information within the book is really good, regardless of where it is coming from.

So far I'm finding her channeling sessions that Adrian posted to be a very good read!

If people can try not to focus so much on the "alien" aspect, there is some very good, practical, advice in these excerpts for anyone seeking to grow, be it in knowledge, spiritually, or who dares to dream of becoming something more than they are.

Coming into these topics to complain about minor technicalities is just a waste of time and effort, especially in cases like this where your stated "facts" are incorrect - it only displays stubborn ignorance.

The Pleiades is properly referred to as a "star cluster". Alcyone itself is a 5 star "multiple star system", Referring to the Pleiades as a star system is not really incorrect.  

What is incorrect however is referring to this cluster as a constellation. The Pleiades is not and never has been a constellation - it is a part of the constellation Taurus.

That seems to be a problem on this board, nobody is allowed to criticise anything, any critisism of channelings especially. What is this place? camp x-ray. Whatever happened to the glorious gift of free speech?

Actually if this board has a problem at all it is that we're too tolerant of people who want to dispute and criticise topics like this and get in the way of those who want to discuss them intelligently.

Yes free speech is permitted here, but you're assuming that people really want to listen to your gripes!

Do you know why? because everybody on this msg board criticises - so if you were LESS tolerant then you'd have no board members, then it wouldnt be a very good message board.

I just don't see any point in dissing a topic just because you don't agree with it. There's plenty of topics I don't agree with, so I just stay away from them and let the people who are interested get on with it.

As for the freedom of speech thing, a forum run by a friend of mine has this quote at the top of the main page:

"The right to be heard does not automatically include the right to be taken seriously."

I read her article and came across what I thought was something wrong with what she said regarding the Pleiades, I decided to point it out, that was all. I figured if she could be wrong in her first paragraph about stars and constellations then there must surely be something wrong with the rest of the article.
But of course you proved me wrong - my mistake, I was sure in my mind the pleaides was a constellation

I suppose it was fair to think that if one piece of info is way off, how's the reast of it going to be? God knows I've read some utter tripe on the internet regarding the "reality" of these aliens and their technology.

I guess I was being a little reactive and jumping to conclusions, so the point I originally wanted to get across would have been obscured by my "aggressive" stance. (I do tend to shoot first and ask questions later[:I])

There's actually some very useful personal / spiritual development info in these articles - Adrian wouldn't have posted them if there wasn't. The problem I've seen a lot of is that the fact that this info is coming from alien beings who boast advansed cultures and technologies, so a lot of people are getting too caught up in the "scientific technicalities" instead of looking past this to the actual message. IMHO,[parts of] these articles are quite good.

I'd say though, if anyone is interested in these articles, give them a read, but analyse them with your heart, your gut feelings, rather then analysing them with your head. The logical mind will find too many technical faults and impossibilities. You'll probably want to skim them a bit in places - Barbara's guides get a bit long winded.

You have to remember that the Pleiades is a name given to this area of the cosmos by humans just as Zeta Reticula is a human name as well. The people of these systems obviously have their own names.

To that end, it is pointless getting involved in semantics like this. Whether Barbara is an astronomer or astrophysicist or not is irrelevant; it is the substance of what is being channeled that really matters, alot of which is subject to the interpretation of the human mind. You cannot simply dismiss everything based upon one small piece of interpretation on the part of the channeler.
