Law of attraction VS Colorado mass shooting

Hello,

The recent events (mass shooting in Colorado) made me wonder: is this really an accident? So much work has gone into producing the Dark Night series - an exciting, but violent and tragic movie. Can it be that thousands of people involved into the movie production actually attracted such a tragedy at the opening night?

Oi, a new version of the simulated violence is bad for society.

My opinion:
Game violence- stays in games
Movie violence- stays in movies
Sick people in the world- do sick things

The shooter was clearly a sociopath, who wanted to watch the world burn. He chose to strike at the Batman movie because the joker appealed to him. "I just want to watch the world burn." I mean he rigged his house with bombs for the sake of watching it be discovered or watching a bunch of poor police officers be blown to bits even after he was captured. He was in college with a very nice major and a bright future in neuroscience, but guess what, killing a bunch of people and scaring the hell out of a lot more just seemed to appeal to him a bit more.

I really hate this old argument. It needs to stop having new skins put over it.  *Sigh*

Everyone always asks "Why do such horrible things happen if the law of attraction is true?".
Here is how I see it. Free will and the Law of Attraction coexist on earth. The law of attraction is more like a guide, it cannot stop free will. To make it into a metaphor, think of the LoA as a magnet that is pulling what you are manifesting towards you, but free will is a brick that slides in between the magnet and what it's trying to pull. So you see, sometimes debris can get in the way due to free will and natural causes. Some refer to this as "by default".

I do believe in the Law of Attraction, but personally I believe its more a state of mind. Like a  psychological thing than some mystical power of the universe that is bringing things to you based on what you project out.
