Hello all, I am quite new to the site and am happy I found it!
I have a question about channeling, I have made contact with a guide(actually hearing it), but I am finding it hard now to channel again, I have always used pendulums and had great results with it. But now that I have made contact I cant seem to open up again, Ever since I have channeled I was really spacey for a while, but I felt I had a total increase in energy and feel more centered now. But I just cant seem to break this barrier.
I have the same problem with my intuition, and giving readings to others, there are times when I feel so blocked and I cant figure out why.
There are different kinds of channels. Most just channel a specific guide/group/entity/higher-self. Others are more open, and can channel 'anything'. (insert appropriate warnings of doom here for doing that)
If you 'graduate' from an aid like a pendulum to hearing/feeling/knowing, it's going to be hard to go back. Your shifting back and for between knowing it all at once, and getting it one letter or yes/no at a time. Sort of like switching between a movie and still pictures of a movie.
One key to working with higher beings (non-coporial life if you will), is you need to shift your perceptions higher. This can be equated to raising your energy vibrations as high as you can. Not as strong as you can, but higher in frequency. I have some guides it's difficult to work with when I'm 'down'. When I'm 'up', the answers snap in as soon as I form the question, which leads to the next question/answer, and it repeats like a jack-hammer and I have to pause to evaluate it all. Other times it's all emotions and abstract concepts.
Read McLaney's books, she's big into the channeling.
