Hello folks! Semi-long time reader, first time poster.

Please forgive me if this is in the wrong forum section, but all the third eye topics were in this one so I figured I'd post it here

I haven't really been very spiritual up to some time ago, but long story short I've been feeling a stronger and stronger pull towards it, and I won't bore you with the details of how I ended up in this position. I've been doing some guided relaxing meditation several times, years apart to unwind during some very hectic periods, and it worked very well.

So this led me to start attempting opening the fabled third eye, years later, which is now. First attempt was a mere week ago. Now, I'm just wondering if anyone has any experienced input, if that makes sense, or can relate to my experience so far.

I don't have the habit of sleeping or napping during the day, and I was fully rested after a good night's sleep, so I'm pretty sure I did not accidentally fall asleep on any of these occasions.

So my first attempt was approx. 5 pm. I was lying flat out on the bed with no pillow, just relaxing. I tried to focus on the back of my eyelids in completely dark room, and as far as relaxation goes it was very good. I imagined and saw nothing nor hear anything. After a while my hands became very heavy and almost numb as if they weren't there. Same thing happened to my feet. I don't know how long I'd been lying like this, maybe 20-30 minutes maybe more. Suddenly I heard, or imagined to hear, a sharp and very short metallic-like sound, like an old fashion alarm going off. Then I saw an eye that looked rather snake-like appear and I didn't exactly hear a voice in the traditional hearing fashion, but more like a voice spoke in my head and asked "are you afraid?". I answered, or thought "no". There was a pause and i changed my answer to "maybe a little", and I got the reply "you should be." That was it. I drifted out of it and returned to a 'now I'm just lying on the bed relaxing manner'.

Second attempt was the day after, which lead to pretty much nothing. My hands and feet went heavy and numb like the were weighed down, and it felt like my ears stopped working, and I just heard static instead. I was lying like this for again maybe 30 minutes, when I felt like a inaudible whisper in my head. Then I drifted out of it again.

Third and fourth attempt went pretty much like 1 and 2, apart from the vision of a fair amount of grotesque faces floating in front of me. I visualized pushing them aside and focus on the darkness instead, which lead me up to seeing static. Unlike the white dots and small stars on a black background that I usually see when I close my eyes, it was a grey background with white and black dots. This is coupled with the drowning out of all sound being replaced with just static. I've seen many people say they felt a very strong pressure in their forehead, but mine was more all over the place. I rarely suffer headaches, but the days after I notice my brain was aching in different places.

Thanks for reading my wall of text :-) If anyone has similar experiences or got any input I would love to hear it!

I suggest doing some research and reading on the following topics. First read up on phasing. scrying, and remote viewing. I'm not giving away any sites or anything I want you to go through the internet, and find these.

Make sure your not blending this practice into time when you need to be focused on different things like school and work. Keep this separate and preferably in a space where you do only this type of exercise. Same thing with the hearing. Disregard anything that doesn't come to you in the specified time and place. ... the only exception would be bed time and when your sleeping. This happens naturally at this time and you will not likely gain control over that for awhile.

Don't worry. You haven't any reason to be afraid, even if someone says you should be. Some people just like to be obnoxious and say things like that to scare people. I feel a localized pressure on my forehead when I meditate and send energy to my third eye, but sometimes i feel it everywhere like you mentioned above. Dunno why, but it happens to me to.

Don't worry...

Thanks :-)

Been noticing the pressure moving to my forehead, but more like a band across it rather than a spot or point.

Going to be interesting to see where it leads anyhow :-)

The answer to all questions is earnest self enquiry, "Who am I?"

Yes this will be an interesting thing to keep us updated on. If you still need help just PM me and I'll be able to tell you a few things that are likely to really boost your progress if you haven't already opened your eye. c:
