May15th Pole Shift

Hype, imnho. PLain aand simple.

There is some possible truth as geological findings point to the magnetic field shifting several times in the past.

Now as theory has it, iirc, the earth's mag field is caused by the conductive mateerial in the core spinning around, as in vortices, thus creating localized magentic fields that in turn tend to amplify the majority polariation direction.
Now for the poles to shift this balance of polarized sub-fileds would ahve to swing in the other direction and then over time realign enough of the core's mag field to cause what we'd percive as a pole shift. This will take time and will NOT hapen in a single day, more like several decades at the minimun and more likely centuries.

Note that this mean the MAGNETIC poles shift, not the poles defined by the rotational axis of the planet. Thus the bits about earthquakes, huge storms, atlantis rising ans such may safely be ignored.
However given that the earth's magnetic field shileds us from cosmic radiation losing the field would be Bad Thing(tm).

The zetaTalk site is entertaining but I personally won't put much weigth on the content. Your mileage may vary, of course.

Alright, but this theory, I'll call it the zeta theory, is based on planet X (comet neat, whatever you want to call it) Swinging by earth, which , because of the size of the object, would pause the rotation of earth, then cause it to start back up again, thus resulting in all the chaos.. it doesn't seem TOO far fetched, its rather a big radical occurance which would be hard to solidify a confident stance behind.

If you calculate the moment of inertia (translation off the top of my head) of a planet the size of the Earth you'll conclude that stopping it quickly would require HUGE amounts of energy that in this case would have to be provided by the gravitational pull of said planet X.
That would necessarily make planet X huge, uless we're ataling about a wandering neutron star type of thing and event then it would have to be enormous to effect any sudden change in Earth's rotation.

The most recent thing I heard about was that the liquid iron in the core was shifting around and that the magnetic poles were switching. Our geography would remain the same but a compass would point to the south pole instead of the north pole. The other thing I heard several years ago was that the equator will be the poles and the poles will be the new equator. In any case, if anything is going to happen it is beyond my control. Same thing for if nothing happens.

Who said it would stop "quickly" I imagine it would slow down, as mentioned on the zetatalk site, creating the long periods of sunlight/darkness.

I only bring this subject up, because I've been having a growing feeling that something big is going to happen, kind of a re-set switch to make way for the progress of our spiritual development.

The state in which things are now, It would be near impossible for any global "progress".  Especially in the state the U.S is in.

Corporate brainless cattle is what most have been reduced to.
An illusion of where we are "supposed" to exist created by ego.

Values of importance created by the mass whole.. NONE of it makes sense. If I got into it, it'd be a huge article unto itself. This feeling has not stopped growing in "urgency"

I feel very disconnected and detached from the state I observe most others to be in. I've found others, and some of my friends have started to feel the same way, much to my surprise and comfort.

When pondering what I want to do with my life, NOTHING comes to mind. My heart voice speaks, urging me to just wait, and in time my "job" will make itself clear. Its kind of scary, mainly because all I have to go on is strong feelings that I can't articulate to the ego concious minds of the masses, which fuels my ego into thinking im going insane, and so on.. But it's such a comforting and concrete feeling, and because its been growing, I find myself more and more detached and in a state of preparation.

My friends have been having dreams where I am transferring knowlege to them, while they lay there paralyzed with waves of "energy" sweeping through their body, they mention always seeing blue dots of light when im around, so on.. its just.. Something of our current "status" isn't adding up. And I feel its all going to change soon, very abruptly.. as to make way for the next set of changes.

This is why I bring this up, because it hits on so many of those chords.

For 7 or 8 years or so, I have been hearing about how everything is speeding up and there is going to be an extraordinary leap in the evolution of the planet. Then there is the question of if I can feel the changes coming, too, because clearly anyone who can feel the evolutionary leap coming is more advanced than someone who doesn't feel anything unusual. In my opinion there has always been something extraordinary going on at any given time. That is why there is nothing extraordinary about it.

Astrologically speaking, on May 15th there is a eclipsed, full moon, mercury is retrograde, and there is a grand, fixed cross in the stars for a while.  Which means -- watch out for the crazies, it is likely to be a difficult time.  So she picked a good date for all kinds of troubles and difficulties.  However, her end of the world as we know it scenario is a bit way out there.  In her theory, we should be seeing Planet X right now with the naked eye.  Anyone seen it?  Nope.  

If it sneaks up sudden-like, I will see you all on the other side as we will all be dead.  If it's nothing, we will all get up the next day and still have to go to work and live our lives and deal with the usual things we each have to live with.  I am counting on the later.

I do, however, wonder what she will say if nothing happens that week to kill us all off.  "Oops!  Just kidding!" or that the people she talks to changed their minds or got the year wrong or something as silly.

Oh dear! only one day to go and theres so much I wanted to do. There must be loads of people in the world who have done all that they wanted to do in life, think about it, with all these dates for the end of the world over the last 30 years or so, people must have ran around asking out old friends, parachute jumping and all sorts! On the 15th there is a huge lunar eclipse at 8:30 so watch it. It end at 9:40 mountain time.

I think the pole shift was susposed to happen on the 22nd of May, i was looking through zetatalk and it said somewhere where there was a chart that may 15th was day 7 until the pole shift took place and on the 22nd the day was set to 0 meaning that could be the day they mean and not the 15th, but it is also strange how zetatalk.com was down on the 15th/

Can anybody really be sure the world DIDN'T end as we knew it???

How many times have you gone to look for the pen that you put down on the table only a moment ago, and now its gone?
Is it not possible that between the time you put that pen down, and went back to look for it the world ended and was rebuilt again an instant later, but a few little details got changed?

This explains why the pen turned up somewhere other than where you know you put it.

Ok, now with that bit of evidence, can anyone here prove to me that the world we knew back before the 15th of May, or on many other prophesied occasions, DIDN'T end??
