Doubts about the Metaphysics. Please help

I have a problem. I strongly believe in God and the Metaphysics. And i believe my experiences and other things are evidences for those. But Atheists are not impressed and still do not believe me. And they use logic and reason to explain why those are not proof of those. And part of me agrees with that. But another part tells me god does exist. So I have conflicting feelings that torture me. I don't like to not believe in God nor the Metaphysics. Yet at the same time it makes some sense to me. Its perhaps mind vs heart. Its like in my mind I agree there should be evidence and in my heart I feel there is but I can't access it! I mean can someone here give me evidence of anything metaphysical? Especially scientific evidence. Because nothing I give to Atheists impresses them. For example I give the Astrology but they link me to Derren Brown debunking of Astrology on Youtube. They believe Astrology is Cold Reading where most personality traits would fit most people most of the time. I believe in Astrology but have my doubts. I see that they are too fitting. I mean you can't compare the personality of an Aries or Scorpio for example to that of a Capricorn or Taurus. They're just too different! It is too accurate to be most people most of the time. But like I said I have my doubts. Another thing is Astral Projection. I had two skeptics who experienced Lucid Dreaming and Astral Projection say that AP is nothing but an LD. How can you tell the difference? What if AP is just you dreaming you left your body? And everything is a dream world and not the real world? How can you test it? Then there's Near-Death Experiences. Skeptics say they're nothing but mind tricks from the brain or something like that. But what they can't explain yet is how consciousness survived when the brain had no activity as in the case of Pam Reynolds. But I'm sure they'd come up with something. And there's other things too. This is giving me a lot of anxiety. Is there any scientific evidence proving anything Metaphysical? I would really like to see it to renew my beliefs.

Hi,
Maybe you should read time forward clairvoyance.
Its metaphysical and that whats seen hasn't even happened. Yet it does, you have to wait for it to manifest.
"Prove this is all nonsense", is what you'll be telling them...
You may calm yourself too. Things are better when placed in their true perspective.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

this is a question that frustrates me everytime too.

Atheist will never be able to let go of there ego to admit that even the same scientific rules, laws, principles, are all work of ART

Definition of art

noun

1 [mass noun] the expression or application of HUMAN creative skill and imagination, typically in a (but not limited to) visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power

our laws languages, and art all go according to nature and are therefore natural

God created us in his image and we all carry a strand of him within us therefore these universes of math, science, theory, which cannot be disproven by nature by us nor by GOD are all natural and do not break any law to your freedom, religous belief or life

listen to your heart and just remember

do unto others which you would want done unto you /vice-versa/ do not do unto others what you wouldnt want done unto you

Why do you want to change their opinion? It's their opinion, it's not hurting anyone. Let them believe what they want to. All you need to believe is what feels right in YOUR heart. There's always going to be different opinions on certain things. This is what makes us individuals.  :-)

Yeah, I also stopped wanting to "convince" or even discuss these issues with materialists as it is futile. Why give them any importance after all? They are deeply buried in their dogma. Their statements of 'no proof' can be turned around every time because they have to prove to you that it is not 'real'. But first of all: What is "real"(ity) at all !!??

Stating it is a lucid dream is another pitfall for skeptics, we must not fall into, because it already assumes a certain world-view / belief that sth like a dream is 'Not real'. Nothing could be further from the truth. From my own personal experience (and that of countless others) I have had multiple precognitive and telepathic validations without any doubt from dreams. And by this I mean "normal" dreams, not lucid ones! I've had telepathic validations via AP too. Without a doubt. I know the skeptics' arguments, but they don't hold any water and are a self-betrayal if you look closely into the matter.

I recommend this book (not the first time here) about the 'skeptic delusion': http://www.amazon.com/RANDIS-PRIZE-sceptics-paranormal-matters/dp/1848764944

I also recommend reading about parapsychology, e.g. by Dean Radin or the PEAR institute's work.

I recommend the link in my signature below. It is a huge collection of anecdotal evidence, with links given to message boards as well as to literature.

Currently I am also working on how to do card validations. It is a method that is promising to me (I had two 'narrow' hits and am fine-tuning it now) and I want to write sth about it to teach people how to do it.

There's nothing wrong with saying "maybe there is a god, maybe not" or "maybe AP is just an LD, maybe not". You don't have to make a firm decision one way or another. There's something to agnosticism.

Taoistguy

Let them have their opinion. In time, maybe they will change. Just concentrate on yourself and believe in yourself.

What bothers me is that I am a truth-seeker and that if I don't have any evidence then none of this is true and I shouldn't be doing this.

The problem is, atheist and new age cultures are equally idiotic (and both controlled by the same hierarchies anyway), so you won't get many answers from either of them. New agers blatantly oppose science, and atheists secretly oppose science while pretending their wacko beliefs have any scientific basis at all.

If you want to get answers then stop categorizing things as 'metaphysical'. It's a stupidly broad category, made on the assumption that anything that defies someone's understanding must also defy the universe.  If something strange happens then it should be studied and understood.

I'll actually emphatically agree with Zareste.  I know... hell must have froze over.  ;)

When you really look deeply at everything, you slowly begin to notice two things: The labels we give things, such as "physical" and "metaphysical" are just that, labels... it's all really just the same stuff, sub-categorized for people to make it easier to understand.  I don't believe humanity really has a term for what it "all" is.  Energy, perhaps?
