I too had success with the pendulum at first. Well actually wasn't an actual pendulum, it was a necklace but that's good enough [:P] Then i started getting what i now believe to be wrong answers. I think the pendulum was just telling me what i wanted to hear. So it was probably my subconcious mind moving the pendulum rather than anything else.
Now i don't use it anymore. It doesn't strike me as something i need to do at the moment. Maybe somewhere down the track if i decide to try again i can get a proper pendulum and see if that makes a difference. I don't think it should, but we'll see.
So yeah, just be careful that the information you are getting is not just what you want to hear. Try asking the pendulum of the dates of somebody's birth - death that you don't know and then look it up on the internet to see if it was right (obviously you'll have to pick some sort of famous person).
I used a necklace that i'd had around my neck fro years, with a cylindrical wooden plug type thing as the weight.
So far i've only asked it simple questions and i also say hello to it before i use and good-bye when ive finished with it (I think it helps to give respect to whatever maybe motioning the pendulum, even if it maybe my sub-conscious self)
As for your comments Euphoric, part of me thinks your right. That it is just your sub-conscious self answering the question. I thought about it and then came to the conclusion that if it my sub-conscious self answering at least i've cut out the middle man (My conscience). So i a way it still works [:P]

Hey all.
Someone whom i was talking too from this bored, informed about Pendulums and guided me to the instructions on how to make one.
Anything mystical, paranormal, whatever intrigues me. So i thought i'd give it a go. I did enter the whole process of making my pendulum with doubt and a 'This surel can't work attitude'. However i made sure to obey the instructions to the letter and sure enough it works. I just have the highest respect for the whole process now.
Are there anymore people out there with sucessful pendulum stories?
