Need help of experienced auric watchers

What you are learning is how to focus your eyes and your mind. Strong colors on a plain background are a good way to begin because the exercises for seeing auras produce quick, easy results. This is different than seeing the aura of something which is alive. You saw a dark blue around the plant because it was a layer of the plant's energy and not just a fact that the plant has a color. If you put your hands against the background you are using with the tips of your index fingers together and then slowly pull the fingertips apart you will see a line between the two. You can expand on this to see the aura around your hands. You have learned the methods to focus the eyes and mind to see an aura. Now it is just necessary to practice often.

But why is the color(blue energy from a plant, or green colors from a book) showing itself ON THE WLL and not AROUND THE OBJECT? This part cunfuses me a bit.

That is a bit unusual. Maybe it will stop with more practice. It might not. There have been more unusual ways to observe auras. Have you heard of people seeing auras on a person's shadow instead of around the actual person? That has been reported here. So have seeing auras in photographs and in the reflections in mirrors. Then there are people who don't see auras but instead perceive smells and tastes when concentrating on an aura. It is common to be able to feel an aura with the energy centers of the hands before being able to see an aura. The fact is that seeing auras is not really about using the physical eyes. What you are learning is more like a way of keeping them from interfering. It is actually a form of clairvoyance to see auras.

Focus on the aura as you word on a blurry image. It may have nothing to do with the plant at all.

When I look at the same green plant in front of some dark background no aura is shown. To me it seems like the only thing I am seeing(color BEHIND,around the object manifested on the background, not eh object) is some weird interpretation done by my brain. Like the red bokk is somehow doing something with my brain/eyes that makes one of them, or both crate some sort of illusion? Mabe I just have a really bad eyesight

This morning I found Robert Bruces treatise on auras. I tried the exercise about the "colored book". I used a very red book and placed it on my wall, using my white tapestry as background.
I saw a very green light right next to the point I was looking at(left to the book). To my surprise this green light moved along with my focusing-point: If I shifted focus more to the left, the light followed a bit, emmiting from the book.

The problem is that when placed the book from a distance from the wall, makiing a good ten centimeters distance, the auric color made its appearance on the wall instead of around the book. The same thing happened when I tried a green plant with thick leaves(the auric color was blueish or perhaps purple? *This does not follow the color-pattern I was supposed to see?) But my main concern is that the color appears on the wall instead of around the object(book,plant)!! So I really need some help here!
