Orbs

It is just dust or moisture in the air. You would not notice these things just by looking, do you usually see dust floating around apart from occaisionally when a strong light is shining through your window for example?

I would say that dust, moisture and reflections are all within the realm of possibility. Though I need to do some more personal reseach before I dismiss these images as being natural as I have been taking photographs all my life and have very rarely found these orbs. I also attach some recent pic of orbs during a ghost tour of Stirling Castle

and finally here is one I took a couple of days before in my flat which is not 200m from the castle.

As you can see I am fairly attractive

so any babes in Scotland just send me a private message. Though I cannot gaurenttee the presence of the orb. However, I am serious about trying to find out more about orbs and would like to know if anyone has had any experience involving them or know a good book or website.

I don't know about any books written about orbs but I live with three and I know something about them. I don't just see them on camera. My husband, children and I see them and one likes to hang out in my womb. (Even before I had children). They are astral beings. Some people like to call them fairies (willowisps).

My first encounter with the one who is my spirit guardian and soulmate was at an ancient calendar site in Vermont. My ex-stepfather the late Byron Dix was exploring and studying these ancient ruins (we found). One day he and I got lost. We found ourselves in a large open field shaped like a natural amphitheatre. I saw an orb shaped like a diamond. It led me to an ancient stone hut that Byron later discovered aligned with Equinoxes and solstices. The hut had no roof but had a slab over the door, which had grid marks carved into it. Back then Byron didn't believe in spirits. He was an atheist. I heard he changed after my mom left him. He wrote a book called Manitou with a man named James Mavor about those sites.

When I was 14 I met a woman named Anne Ross from Scotland at a conference that was being held at Goddard College. She is the one who told me that the orb was a Willowisp. She has written several books about archeology and mythology.

I have just followed some experiments on the web and have discovered that the orbs are just out of focus dust particles. I am not dismissing all orbs just the ones I have photographed.

Orbs are ghosts or spirits of some kind that are floating around you.

The fact that the aparent orb is in front of all other objects suggests that it is not really an orb. If you look where it is supposed to be (in front of the house) it is in front of all other things and nothing is between it and the camera. This is the way UFOs and ghost sitings are dismissed. But if you look at it, it does look very small and close.

well, what about orbs not on camera, just seen with your eyes, I sure see alot of those. Theres no way on earth they can be dust particles, their too bright even in a dark room and they have very akward movment, not to mention the colors that almost seem to alien to exist in reality.

I have done some experimentation with a digital camera and a water bottle, spraying a fine mist in front of the lens and then using the flash. I have been able to capture images very similar to those which Behemoth has posted. However even when I try to get them it does require a bit of luck. Baasically though I think that it is just moisture or dust in the air. As for seeing them often people have bits of dead cornea cells floast across their iris etc.

I definitely believe that some orbs are spirits (or their energy)... also some of them seem to appear to have faces in them...

Whereas I do believe that some orbs are dust, I've tried throwing dust in front of my camera and didn't get any orbs...

Once in my unit a white solid type cloud (which I suppose you could call ectoplasm) appeared right in front of me (sounds wierd I know but it happened!!) I ran to get my camera and took a few photos -- in the first couple there were 3 orbs in different positions in each photo, then in the last few they disapeared.

I've taken many photos in my unit, it's very dusty - but I have never had any orbs appear. If I hadn't have seen the solid white cloud I would have dismissed the orbs as possible dust, but I feel that they were spirits visiting me.

Hello, I recently purchased a Digital Camera (Canon A60) and was playing about with it yesterday afternoon. After I had captured a self protrait using the camera on a tripod in a corner of the living room I noticed an Orb. At the moment I am trying to understand what Orbs are and am not finding enough info on the web. I will try to post the pic later this evening. I am looking for resources and information on Orbs can anyone assit? Also, I have already checked out natural causes for Orbs when I first noticed it in the picture. There was no objects reflecting light nor is it a fault of the camera. The only natural thing that happened in the same local was I did a spot of hovering about 20mins before hand. However, I am more inclined to look at the supernatural side of things as the location of my flat is in the centre of Old Stirling. I am also reading Robert Bruce's PPSD and have found no reference to Orbs and Negs though I believe there maybe. so if anyone has any info just add to this thread.
