But I've also had many experiences with sleep paralysis when I was around 5-7. I'd wake up, but not be able to move or even breathe! Eventually I'd somehow struggle out of it, heart racing and short of breath...
Of course, my parents weren't much help. I haven't had such experiences ever since then though.
I have also strange memories from my childhood.
At night I always use to hide under my blanket, I made sure that my whole body was under the blanket, so that "the evil thing" couldn't harm me...
And I know what you mean with the yellow eyes that you saw.. I saw it too...[:O]
Well, I think you asked a question to this,
and I really don't know why just some children experience this and some other doesn't...
Maybe surtain children are more sensitive then other children about these things.. I don't know....
But if someone have an answer, I'd love to read it too..[:)]

Hello everyone! Yes, this question has been brought up here before in the AstralPUlse by myself and others. I think it practically goes without saying that younger children, especially certain individuals, are very susceptible to seeing the "otherside." Go to the search engine built into this site (at the top of the page over towards the right) and then enter "children" "kids" or other words and you can read a lot about these kinds of experiences.

Yeah, once I was also afraid of the dark. But now I'm not. Although when in a dark room I do sometimes look suspiciously here and there.
I always sleep in my room and that too in pitch black. When I was younger I somewhat considered anyone and everyone in my room as my friends, although I was not able to sense anyone in my room. Before sleep I usually said that, 'all of you are my friends', 'goodnight friends', 'how are you feeling'. I wasn't talking to anyone. I just did this to satisfy that now I they are my friends and I am safe. You will be thinking that I had gone cyco. But I did this many years ago when I was young. Now I am not afraid of the dark.
Yesterday when I was answering a post I just saw a black figure move beside me and I clearly felt it moving. But when I turned my face and looked towards it, there was nothing. But I was sure I saw something and I absolutely felt it. So what do you say, was this an illusion or something else?
when I was around 12 or so, me and my step brother were riding our bikes around town after dark.we went near a big field that used to be farmland,but was now a schoolyard.there were trees and a small forest behind the school.as we rode past we saw in the big field maybe 100 ft (?) away, a figure of a man who was made of pure light!.he was raking leaves (it was summer!) I think,but it was hard to tell because his image kept shifting slightly.part of me wanted to go over to him, but the rest of me was terrified! we just said "what the hell is THAT![:O]" we looked at it for a few minutes,then rode away.
I wonder what would've happened if I rode over to him/it?
Inquire about the past of that place. Maybe that place was a torturing zone, or it had something strange in the past. Just a thought.
I won't to start this thread to share strories about experiences growing up feel free to comment and share stories.
Growing up I saw alot of what Robert Bruce call's negs, from the time I was two up until i was twelve i slept with my grandparents in their bed simple because i was terrified, i grew up seeing yellow glowing eyes in the dark, shadows going across the floor things that looked like black cats with dark yellow eyes walking on walls, ghosts, and fits of sleep parylisis where i would see those large black-eyed gray aliens. What's worse is when ever I would say anything, I would be subjected to ridicule by other family members, My question is what attract's these things to some people, while other's never seem to have any problems at all.
