Physical Levitation

I've had a few experiences where I levitated while in samyama. I wanted to know who believes in it or has had experiences  . Leaving David Blaine and Criss Angel out of this...

of course the majority of people on this forum would believe in this without having to reference to david blane or criss angel. The only thing is that it is a feat that is quite rare. However there have been multiple mentionings of priests and other religious figures spontaneously levitating. This is believe to be because they are constantly thinking of god and the heavens or going up there if I can find an article on it I will post it.

Thanks for the response! I can see how thinking of the heavens could do this. I meditate on the 'udana vayu' (upward air). That's how I've had success. Just hoping I could connect with others who have done it. Oh well, forums still awsome.

I've heard of/seen this experience in my path of training also. We try to discourage the practice though because it tends to get out of control easily. Also, most other people won't see it because their viewpoint of reality won't allow it - they can't tolerate it.

I always say -intead of trying to move your body up in the air, why not try to move people from within - healing, etc.

Woah, I was having some troubles so I changed my account name (won't happen again). Sorry  ! Anyway thanks for the response. I agree with you dsellers. Once I had some success in levitation I realized moving people within is much more potent.

I think that physical levitation has something to do with vibrations. If you are "on higher vibration" then you can walk on water or levitate.

I've only levitated twice so I'm no expert. But, yes, the vibration does seem to 'speed up'.
