it probably wasnt white, more of an absence of true color, alot of times in the stages if undeveloped auric vision you wont see colors, just this energy field. keep working, although i havent been as good about it as i should be, it only takes a week of regular practice to see some indication of color

But what you saw wasn't actually your real aura but the etheric aura which extends about 2 inches from your physical body it relates to the physical condition and health of the physical body.
You can usually see this before you get full auric site.
