Hypotheticaly speaking,Im not really concerned about it.And Im not even sure there will be an end.Say it happened by a meteor hitting the planet,we knew about it.But nothing that could be done.

You are saying this like the common conception amongst most people is that judgement day will come at some point?

Sorry but is this an american thing or somthing?

I dont get this but everywhere else in the world or at least in Europe (I am in the UK, we dont have this thing about judgement day, the end times and all that crud,
sure there is talk about that at the end of the bible but most semi-sane people over here take most biblical stuff with a pinch of salt. If we're being kind we might say that its symbolic.

Americans appear to have a fixation with it however, and talk about it as if it is a accepted fact which seems strange to everyone else.

I have a feeling that the bible belt fraternity in the US has influenced mainstream society to a great extent and they love all this apocalyptic stuff.

Sorry to bang on about this but this forum I believe was originaly started to talk about sensible discusions abot forms of prophesy and divination that people might find useful in their daily lives and spiritual development but all that seems to be peddled about here is constant references to biblical apocalyptic mythology and end times etc which doesnt really do anyone any good!

Just my 2 Euros for the day!

PS in answer to your question as to what were I to do if somthing happend like a global nuclear war or somthing I would probably try to have sex with as many women as possible in as short a time as I have left!

Oh, come on now alpha.
Don't you think you're just being a little silly now? End of the world and you want to boost an M3? I'm sorry my friend but that really is being thoughtless! A Ferrari or one of the new top of the line Merc convertibles will do a much better job than an M3.

Besides, BMW M3's are having a nasty habit of blowing up their engines in really spectacular ways at the moment. How annoyed would you be if you've only got hours to go and your engine dies on you. You've really got to think clearly about these things.

Yah I heard that too,alot of ticked off owners.I came across a page on the web and I was shocked.I thought they were more reliable than that.

I too would take a Ferrari anyday.But they dont really have any exotics like that around here.Your right I wasnt thinking,in that case Id load up 4 or 5 M3 on a trailor.

ALPHA!!!! "blame Canada"?!!!! just for that, if the end of the world were coming, i would find alpha and teach him ALL there is to know about the Greatness of Canada, and how NOBODY can blame Canada for ANYTHING (except sending those drunk Scotts to burn down the whitehouse way back when. hehe.)

Kakkarot, I don't think anybody could blame Canada for the drunk Scotts either. Knowing what my scottish ancestors were like when it came to burning things, they don't need an excuse, least of all when their drunk!

How can you know for sure just how many lives you have lived?And what kind of person you were?From what I read in Monroes books,repeaters are pretty common.And not many people ever make it out of the earth life experience.

Incidentally, I'm quite proud of our culture
We're the heart attack capital of the world (mainly due to all those deep fried mars bars) how many of you can say that, eh?

We're also the highest drinkers, smokers and so we're the cancer capital of Europe as well. how many of you can say that, eh? EH?

We're also proud to announce that we have the highest rate of teanage pregnancy in Europe, how many of you can say thay, eh? EH? EEEHHH???

PS the american evangalist (and general nutter) Billy Graham refered to Scotland as a dark land ruled by homosexuals which is the creme de la creme as far as I'm concerned.

Canadian whiskey is better than american bourbon, but for any serious drinking I'd much rather have Scotch. Yes, I know that Scotch is supposed to be called whiskey as if it were the only kind there is. Irish whiskey is okay, too, and also better than Canadian.

My favorite import from Canada is candy. I'm told they have some good brands of cigarettes, too.

When the world ends, I think I will go to work as usual or go to class as usual. Sure, lots of people talk about what they would do if they only have a small amount of time to live, but I'm convinced that if it really happened most people would not change their routines. When there are big changes being threatened, I think most people cling more tightly than ever to the familiar. If the world were to end in a matter of hours I would do nothing different.

Did you know that because we in Scotland (indeed in the whole of the UK) are taxed so heavily, it is actually CHEAPER to buy an imported scottish wiskey IN Canada than it is to buy the same wiskey in its country origin here in Scotland.... Bad or what?

good film, ok Gibson's accent was not too bad most of the time although periodically it turned irish, however I suppose most american audiances wouldn be able to tell the difference!

What do you expect from Mel Gibson? I don't think he knows what accent he's using. He's American born, Australian raised, makes it big in movies with a definite Aussie accent, moves back to America, his Australian accent is replaced by an American accent , then he tries to play a Scott? No wonder he can't keep the accent going in Braveheart.

I think Mike Meyers does a better job with the Scottish accent, but then he's Canadian born Scott anyway.

How did I get on to talking about Mike Meyers? I thought we were discussing stealing cars and rampant sex?
Oh, thats right, rampant sex while stealing cars and drinking Scotch Whiskey because the world's going to end and it's the Canadian's fault. But not watching Braveheart. I've already seen it.

My guess is things would probably be chaotic outside.Alot of looters,and basically total anarchy.I would most likely not be involved in that.Id be trying to get my family together.And get them all to a place we have often gone together in the past,its outside.

I can imagine people partying,But what good would that do?Some of my family members prob. would be?LOLI would not want to die drunk.That would make it that much harder.There would really be some major traffic on the astral,if we all died at the same time.

The general population would be very confused.They are either expecting heaven or hell.Alot of people I know think that way.Its good for those who have experienced obe.We could actually help out and get people where they belong.

yah its silly,but I thought it would be entertaining to hear your thoughts on this.This is what happens when you stay up all night.
