Here's one thought...
It's very common for kids between the ages of 12-16 to develop or discover psychic abilities. This is believed to be triggered by puberty, and all the resulting hormonal changes in the body, which tend to go on a few years after they start. I'm not sure of the actual theory here, but only of the evidence that these changes do something to the energy body as well.
At 14 I experienced a few episodes of telekinesis, and found I was left with the ability of empathic telepathy. Many years later I have to really concentrate now to use it, but in my teens, it just came to me, ready or not.
Well, there's a possible explanation, but unfortunately not a solution. It might help though to know why.

I gained the ability to have visions last years. I found out about the demonic war then.
My mom has, or at least had, some pyschic abilities.

Welcome to the forum Dragunkat, I hope you find the answers your looking for.
Psychic abilities can often be passed on from parents to children, especially from the mother. That explains a lot.
If your looking for help with this, a good place to start would be to post a question in the Psychic Self Defence forum, as it looks to me like you might be wanting help to shield yourself from things you don't want to see. You should get a lot of good help there, but be specific with your questions and what you want to achieve. Also remember - don't be afraid to tell it like it is. People on this site have experienced all manner of psychic & supernatural things, and nobody will criticise you or judge you in any way.
You don't have to be concerned about wether or not you can trust people here. You can remain as anonymous as you want, and accept or reject peoples posts as you see fit.

This is my friend using my forum account. He has recently told me about this occurence. He doesn't want to trust others that are psychics around him, as he doesn't know what could happen to him. He is already overwhelmingly confused as of how these powers came back, as if they were self-animated. He does claim he probably has some negative entities in him, and I believe that calls for concern. I hope this has no meaning to the demonic war coming soon within this decade.
