If you have an interest in psychic development, we have a research tool on our site available to the public. It allows you to test and train your abilities while at the same time, it allows us to do more research on the subject. It's free, easy to participate, and spam free.

The project has been shut down for a year or so, but it's been re-launched it. It's been redesigned to be clearer, easier, and less limited. Check it out and let me know what you think:

GANAMOHA

I went there and took the first and second part failed miserably on the first part but in the second one scary close to the person pretty cool
I stand at the threshold of what could be a new world

dsellers

GANAMOHA - yea, I tend to better with people too. It seems to be especially when there is an "intention to help someone" I tend to be much more accurate. There seems to be a force that shows up and does the work for me.

When it's something I'm indifferent to, or I'm trying to showoff, I don't tend to be nearly as accurate. I think DR. Rhine might have called this "The Decline effect."

I've noticed that the results of participants from the Astral Pulse forums are above average as far as psychic accuracy goes. I'm comparing this to participants from other sources besides this forum. Hmmmm...

Meanderthal

Hi dsellers,

Thanks for sharing the site!! I enjoyed it alot!

dsellers

Meanderthal - I'm glad you found the site interesting. I find the whole idea extremely fascinating.

BTW, how do you think you did as far as psychic accuracy?

Dsellers,

Some of what I attempted at was so far off...I found it humorous  :-D but some were so close to what the targets had described before hand that it just gave me goosebumps. I have done psychic readings for fun before but don't usually get feedback on it. This is more like remote viewing isn't it? I think the site is great for practice!

Selski

That was an excellent way to fritter away half an hour or so Dsellers.  Thanks!

I did (what I would term) reasonably well in the first exercise (my colours were exact)  :-o

And hopelessly useless in the second.

Great exercise though.  It just shows that you really must go with your absolute "first impressions".

We all find nonsenses to believe in; it's part of being alive.

Thats a grat thing! some aspects in both exercises were remarkably right. interesting (but not really surprising :-D) is that people from this forum do better that others. im waiting for more exercises to come.

>>bump<<

I did scary good on the first one  :-o But I cant beleive how bad I did on #2! :-o
I've never intentionally used my perceptions, I'm really interested if the site can help develop something, thanks for the link  :-)

Goober

That was great fun. I need to learn to go with my first instinct more often!

#15
I did ok on target #2, but I was already tired after the first target, I think #2 was a kind of hard one. #2 seemed uncertain about um.. his/her/itself  :-), I hope somebody's words helped.
I got #1 one dead on (called it out by name). I must have just been in the right mood. I was having trouble with exessive exitement over it though, no doubt it's going to continue to be a problem.

I want to develope it more, so I can communicate better with my guides (and so I know if someone is yanking my chain)

I have a few questions.
*I was wondering, is there a time difference between what you see and what is happening at that moment? (if sight takes place in the astral, the astral has different time, is there time lag?)

*Does it interfere if you give yourself a location? Such as, 'I want to fly out to get a better view'.

*Most importantly, do you have a good practice tecnique you could reccomend? (I cant afford your class, I'm going to have to do it on my own)

Thanku   :-)

Just wanted to let you guys know that we relaunched the Psychic Project, from LifeLeap Institute. The project is still free, but it has many new features. It's cleaner, faster, you can post your comments to/about targets, and more. There are also eight psychic target exercises at a time that you can do at your own pace. Try it out and let me know what you think.

Nevermind

Well, on the first one, I did alright. I got some shapes and colors, but when I got a big picture it was something completely different. My other success makes me wonder if it's some kind of metaphor, somehow, though.
And on the second one I called it almost perfectly.
A good site, encourages me a lot about this kidn of thing.

healixe

no offence but i found this stupid to be honest how do u focus on a target over the internet, and comon smells and tastes what are u talking about.

dsellers

healixe -

It's been a while, but I just stumbled accross you post and wanted to reply.

When you are participating in the Psychic Project, it has little to do with the internet. Psychic information can't be transferred though a dsl connection and this isn't what the project is asking you to do.

The Psychic Project just gives you a predefined focus point. It's up to you to tap into the "greater spiritual intelligence" that we all have access to get the information. I guess you could say this intelligence is within you, around you, it's everywhere, and it's always been there.

Great minds have been talking about this "force" for a few thousand years, and recently, top scientist throughout the world have began to prove it's existence through research. For example, physicist refer to this force as the "Unified Field." Carl Jung, one of the forefathers of psychology, referred to it as the Collective Consciousness.

As you can see in the research results of the Princeton University's PEAR Project, the ability to attain psychic information is not affected by the distance between you and the target (or the time for that matter): http://www.princeton.edu/~pear/remote_perception.html

Psychic based insights are determined by where you put your attention. It's a matter of how well you can focus and how clear you are (lacking in emotional, mental garbage). Again, it has nothing to do with you internet speed.

Hopefully this make a little more sense to you.
