Ok...here my technique for improving intuition...I just came up
with it...

1. Place an inanimate object close by
2. Go into light alpha...or alpha/theta
3. Visualize that you have a pair of imaginary hands coming out
of your forehead (3rd eye area)
4. 'FEEL' the inanimate object...texture..etc..and have the feelings
move into your body (not sure where the best place would be for
the 'FEELINGS' to go..any suggestions?)
5. After a couple minutes of this do this for smell and taste....

any suggestions, comments?

Thanks 'Tonio

Any comments? Yes.

You're confusing intuition with visualisation.

What you've described here is a visualisation/imagination exercise, with a couple of unnecessary points. If you're learning to use visualisation to bring objects to mind, their look, feel, smell, etc, keep things simple. The brow chakra doesn't need to be involved and you can and should learn do it from a full waking state, not an alpha/theta state. Throw away points 2 & 3 and you've got a reasonably good excercise here.

Now to intuition....
Intuition has nothing to do with seeing things. Intuition works on the highest level of human communication - feelings. On a basic level, intuition can give you a yes/no/unsure set of answers for any given situation. It's that feeling that you get that you shouldn't walk down a particular road, or you should say something to someone. It always serves your highest purpose. It is technically a form of spirit channeling, where you are channeling your own higher consciousness.

If you want an excersise that will help open up your intuitive skills, try doing the following:

Firstly, become aware of the two distinct feelings that intuition will use to give you a yes or no answer to something:

1) Think of one or more things that have happened in your life to make you very happy. Relive those events in your mind and take notice of the feeling you get - typically a wonderful warm uplifting feeling in your heart.
This is the feeling for Yes.

2) Think of one or more things that have happened in your life to make you very upset. Relive those events in your mind and take notice of the feeling you get - typically you'll get a heavy, yucky, "pit of your stomach" feeling (which actually relates to the the solar plexus chakra).
This is the feeling for No.

Now write down some clear and concise yes/no questions that you would like to have answered. These can be anything from will you enjoy dinner tonight to will you get married this year. ANy question, as long as you're specific.

Get yourself into a nice relaxed state, as if you were going to meditate. Clear your mind of any chatter or pressing thoughts, and allow a peace to settle over you. Ask youself the questions, with the thought that you're asking your higher spirit self for the answers. Now see what kind of feeling you get back - is it a warm happy hearted, yes, a heavy pit of your stomach no, or a somewhere inbetween, unsure.

Do this on a regular basis and it will start to become unconscious and automatic. This is being in touch with your intuition, and once you become used to the yes/no feelings, you'll become open to your intuition for more complex feeling based guidance.

Regards,
James.

Paradox

Iv been going through a major dillemma for the past 4 months or so. A dilliema that i some how know is Suppose to happen, and that i have seen coming for at least a year. I'm fairly certain I know the outcome will be a positive one that I will be happy with.

Iv used my intuition to guide me through this, and I knew there would be plenty of ups and downs. My only problem is that im a very nervous person that tends to think way too much. There for its hard for me to tell my irrational fears from my inner voice. I confuse them all the time. Sometimes I almost seem like im delibertly "scaring" myself for a reaction. But dispite all that, i know how it will all end up. I just wish i could relax while im in the "here-now".

I think into things too much.
