But you can use it whenever you want. And I was under the impression that you can use telepathy whenever, it's not like you're constantly chatting into other people's minds.
I am not sure, but I do not see how it would interfere with your life if you can see auras. You would just be able to see color around a person, giving you insight into what they are like. But I do not think it is something that you see constantly. I cannot really say because I have only seen my aura once and not really practice it much.
I had kinda the same thoughts when i wanted to learn how to see auras.Basically i did not want the ability to see auras if it would mean that my life was intruded on. But from what i know you dont have to use it when you dont want to.
The reason i came to this was because once i decided to learn body language. Once i did it was like my life was intruded on because because i could see what people were feeling without them saying a word. But i got used to it now and dont pay attention when i dont want to[:D]
epsilon is right. It's all about control and concentration. I will admit that certain things can be anoying at times. There are in truth some things that I just never wanted to know. But over all I think that my life is made better by the ability. I have learned how to tone it down a bit and at time turn it fully off. It is mostly dependant on your mind set at the time.
I am not sure about the aura part but with empathy and telepathy it is also largely dependant on the people around you also. If every one is "tight liped", and they don't want or need other people to know certain information then you will receive nothing. That is unless you are to a point where you can activly probe a person. But that takes a lot of skill and control. It is also considered an intentional process.
For a while I have been thinking about teaching myself to see auras, but I don't want it to interfere with my life. I am under the impression that it's basically like telepathy that once you have it, you can't stop it, is this true? If it is, can I at least influence it and/or block it out occasionally? Thanks.
