Spontaneous aura visions

Hi all,

I have been practicing OBE for 2 weeks now--every night before sleep. I noticed a curious thing--I seem to be able to glimpse auras of my colleagues every now and then. Especially when the light source is behind their back. I'm wondering if those really are auras..and why I don't see colors other than sky blue and white.

Anybody have similar experience?

Possible the colors you see have to do with your own lense of awareness.

Possibly, yes. Nevertheless, it feels great to see it like that--without even trying!    I hope that my ability develops over time.

Nope, but I've spoken to people who can. Try applying these visions, they should be very useful if they are real. Auric vision sounds wicked, though being able to turn it on and off would be even more wicked. After all, there are times you may want to focus on just physical images and not auric ones. It sounds like an awesome alternative nightvision though.

Get a bunch of people in a dark work, plug your ears, and try not to touch anyone by seeing their auras.

It is really learning to see auras. It happens this way when you go through a more systematic approach to directly learning to see them. Those are the most common things for people to see when they are starting to see auras. You will probably start to get flashes of other colors, too, like yellow and green and red. The background lighting and color stop mattering as much the more it happens, but it will still happen best when the conditions are closer to ideal.

I still don't get how colours relate to different kinds of auras. Colours are the reflection of the light spectrum, does that mean there's some kind of matching emotional spectrum? It is hard to think of emotions in that way, to me they are all very succinct, mixing together to form various moves, not linear. Then again, colours rarely seem linear to us, even with rainbows when we can see the flow, we still pick them out.

Can`t wait to start seeing other colors, Tom. I would like to sit down and just practice a little, but usually there is no time. I would practice on myself, but then i would need to get a big mirror.

What does it have to do with night vision?

Auras aren't light, therefore if you can see them, it's not because of your eyes, it's whatever psychic sense you have that can see auras (I'd guess the third eye) feeding input into your brain as a way you can understand, being sight (most of us are primarily visual I'm guessing). As such, being in darkness or closing your eyes shouldn't limit your aura vision, so once you realize this, you can see auras without seeing other things, and using these auras, you would be able to navigate around in the dark or blindfolded by sensing the auras of other people (and things, if things have auras, not sure, a lot of things seem to have auras these days).

Slowly pull the fingertips apart and watch the space between them. You will see strings of energy connecting them. This is how I how started, and it developed on its own. It is a way of practicing a couple of minutes at a time several times every day between other activities.

if i try to do it i can see auras, but only a tiny bit around people. I have a question.....could you see spirits with auric vision??

After watching the strings for a while to set the mood and to get my eyes adjusted to seeing the energy, I started holding my hands out and gazing at the space immediately around them. My feet, too. After this, I decided to start watching energy in general rather than just auras. This begin with putting energy into objects around me with my hands a distance from them and watching the energy cross the space between my hands and the object. Now, I see that the air really is full of energy everywhere, particularly outside on a clear sunny day. A bright clean sky makes the best background for seeing auras and for seeing energy. You've probably already seen dots of light moving around in the sky outside, and possibly inside as well with the right background.

I wonder if there is a REAL method for seeing auras  and energy as well.

 Since a few month I started to "see auras" , but in a different way.
I always practice energy intaking exercises and now I'm good at "sensing" energy. Well , while I'm sensing , my brain , or mind (not sure) seems to create an image (in my mind) of what I'm sensing.  So if a sense for the energies of a person who is in front of me , an image is created automatically in my mind and I can tell the aura's shape, color , etc.

It's something like a spontaneous visualization, but it's all about perception and sensing.

By the way, trying to see Trees auras works great, the best time is when the sun has fallen and the sky is dark blue.  Try it !!!.

daidaluz, how do you feel energy, what method do you use? i want to know how to do it and also how to take energy in and put it outetc. I can do a "full body circuit" as robert bruce calls it, and feel the energy, and all of that stuff in my subnavel area etc, but i don't know how to put it into stuff and i would really like to know.

If anyone could tell me it would be greatly appreciated

wow this post has got me quite intrigued, i was in the staff room at work the other day sitting down drinking by tea and looking out the windows, daydreaming. the sky was blue with a few clouds so i was kinda looking at a bright sky from a dim room, i started to see little balls of light moving around, i thought it might of been dust reflecting from the light but it couldn't have been because they moved around with a will of their own, i eventually concluded that they must have been microscopic insects in the air, visible to me because my they had light reflected off them and my eyes had adjusted to the light.
But could these balls of light be energy as you describe it Tom?

edit: i just conducted a little test, in the staff room i couldn't tell if the particles were inside or outside. Since i sit next to a window i decided to try and see the particles again, i could and i determined they were definitely outside, i thought that if they were inside they must just be bugs of some sort, but now i see it outside maybe you are right maybe it is energy.
I tried the index finger test but my eyes go out of focus too easily when I'm looking at something close to me, ill try again later when i go home

The best way to explain it is through "Visualization", also this is a great practice, I think, to develop this kind of ability.  

 If I tell you  to visualize yourself in the mountains , what you do is to SENSE and FEEL for the wind in your face, the smell in the air charged with energy, the ground under your feet , etc.  So , when you do this exercise an IMAGE is created spontaneously in your mind; visualization is then about sensing and feeling , not creating by own will a mental image.

When I go outside and intake energy , always try to intake different types of energies,   vital energy, trees energy, strong energies from mountains,  energy from the ground, from the wind, storms , etc.  I always try different experiments..

After all this time I have started to recognize different types of energy from place to place, even I can tell the energy as having different Flavors; sweet , metallic, clean, dirty;  I can tell if there is a good flow in some areas or a weak one in others.

My mind seems to give shapes and colors and "visual sensations" to the energy I'm sensing. This happens automatically.

Well, this is something new to me , and it stated after several month of practicing visualization and intaking energy the way I just told you.

Probably the KEY thing is "visualization practices" and "intaking for different types of energies".

hey thanks for the info, i looked up a website today, ( one on psychic vampirism, not that i am interested in that ) and it said that the best thing to do to get energy from stuff is to visualise the aura, or energy around it, and make the energy come into you. That was is basically, is that what you do???, because i will try that for a little while and see what happens. Oh but i will not try it on people. Also do things create more energy if some is taken away from them?

Yes, but not always. It depends on your development. Recognized  (everyone has it) aura vision does help you get glimpses of spirits.

It's possible to read symbols in auras of living people. The symbols are mind thoughts (permission from the person your reading). Psychic glimpses may happen too.

I don't usually tell another what to do....but your technique may not be the best idea. For one, it's best to not manipulate, second, you may have someone who may take personal offense. A sensitive person can pick up on what your doing. It's a good idea to use good manners. Getting permission to veiw someone is more tackful. I'm glad you say you don't do it to people. I don't know the effect on other things. This is just my opion on the subject.

The closest thing to what an aura looks like is the aura of a candle. Without getting too close,you will see there are dark moving particles within the aura of a candle flame. This energy is the same with the human aura.

Those are some good visualization ideas.

Another is using your eyes like a camera. Look at an object, blink your eyes closed. Hang on to the picture you saw for as long as possible. This can be used for moving objects. The moving object will look like a still photo.

I sense specific things in auras of living people, this happens to me every day more often but I'm not sure about what it is.  (As I said before I sense for energy and my mind creates an image, a spontaneous visualization of the specific energy I'm sensing for).

What I do is to test the validity of my sensing by creating a social  argument or so. ......And YES , I've discovered that reading auras of living people gives the ability to manipulate as well as to guide because you become aware of  the "inner fears" and inner desires that the other person have.  

Wisp , if you have the ability to read "symbols in auras" don't you think that it's probably a waste not to use it for any purpose; I've discovered a way to "deal with this symbols and make them change inside the aura"; I know so far two different ways, one with  permission , and the other without permission;  of course I don't like to manipulate but at the same time I love to learn..

This doesn't happen for me.This makes a difference when trying to pick up on things. What you descibe here, I see as a blank.

I can see them (reading), I cannot interpret them.

I cannot sense most auras. I can feel anger and hostility. This same anger and hostility effects my ability to read auras. It's great you can do this.

It takes a lot of time,concentration, and energy. It would be nice to make it work for a purpose. I can't interpret the individual symbols, let alone manipulate them.    Yes, it's good to learn. I'll have to try your suggestions.
